Letting Go and Moving Forward

Philippians 3:7–11 NLT

I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith. I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!

Philippians 3:12–13 NKJV

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,

Things we need to Let Go of:

Things that are not Valuable. Speaking of things of the Flesh

Make room for God.

God wants to move in your Life but we must make room for Him to Move. Make God’s ways a priority in you life. Get rid of the lies and replace them with God’s truth. Let’s start by getting rid of things that don’t work, things that are not productive and things that bring us harm and open the door for more trouble. Unforgiveness/Bitterness,Destructive Patterns

Let go of even some “good” things so you can experience God’s BEST for you!

Philippians 3:9 NLT

and become one with him. I no longer count on my own righteousness through obeying the law; rather, I become righteous through faith in Christ. For God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith.

Let Go of our pursuit of our own righteousness and purse Christ and becoming One with Him.

Philippians 3:10 NLT

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death,

Things to Move into!

Things that are Valuable.

Things that are valuable are things that make you valuable.

Valuable things are things that hold value and produce good things in our lives.

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.

Moving into requires pressure. We have to press on!
