2024: The Year of the Steward: Shift, Ascend
God is shifting us from our current mode of thinking, and elevating us to Heavenly realms of access, but not without our part of accountability.
This is the year of the steward. It is critical that you steward your gifts, talents, abilities, relationships, business plans, resources that are given by God. This is the year of isolation and promotion. You cannot take what God is shifting you out of and away from, while bringing you into new realms and spheres of heavenly flows of blessings and favor. We are going to have to make extreme changes this year, yes major shake ups, not ones that spare your comfort zones.
What has been the futility of this year 2023:
Starting and not finishing
Procrastination
Fear of Failure
Disobeying God after you have asked Him to give you signs concerning a situation or things in life that you were uncertain of.
Having conversations about ideas and not putting them before God to see whether that is the plan for your life that will cause you to thrive.
Not making amends with those that you have not truly forgiven or reconciled with, even yourself. This is a commitment to remain useless by God. He will not use you the way He needs to use you knowing you have not made that right.
We need to follow this process thoroughly this year:
If God has spoken, ask Him,” what does it look like?,” if He has already shown you what it looks like then you need to execute it FULLY.
Some of us don’t need to wait for God to speak because He has already spoken.
Some of us don’t need God to show us anything because He has always shown you what it is you should be doing.
Then there are some who have both, those that have both have been doing the 6 bad habits that need to be broken off of us before going into 2024.
There is a pulling away from the former things don’t pull towards what God is pulling you from and out of. Remember not the former things neither consider the things of old….. Isaiah 43:18a
Isaiah 43:18a MSG
18 “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history.
No longer lazy being lulled asleep by time snatchers. It’s time we got back into being apart of the miracles, signs and the wonders of God fully. We have had moments in this year where we experienced some great things but this is not the season where we will be allowed to take any breaks. This is in regard to: our purpose, careers, education, relationships, our self care, commitment to ministry, our diet/health, everything that you have been given to be connected to by God and given a charge over.
We must shift from being lazy to proactive, from unproductive to productive, from being unaccountable to being accountable, from not having a consistent regiment with God to having a consistent line of communication with God, from doing things our own way to taking heed to wise counsel. Many will find themselves literally shifting out of the will of God for themselves by simply shifting back into their usual routine of living, while others will see an exponential shift in the things they put their hands to. They will ALWAYS FIND FAVOR WITH GOD!!!
Psalm 90:17 MSG
17 And let the loveliness of our Lord, our God, rest on us, confirming the work that we do. Oh, yes. Affirm the work that we do!
We find favor with God because He is the one that has established the work of our hands. We must not be busy body’s just fickle in our walk in this season. One minute we’re on fire for God the next minute we act like we don’t even know Him.
Psalm 5:12 favor will keep you out of poverty and debt this year. It will also reverse your health.
Psalm 5:12 MSG
12 You are famous, God, for welcoming God-seekers, for decking us out in delight.
Psalm 84:11 Relentless Favor is found in your posture this year. Favor is going to hotly pursue us.
Psalm 84:11 MSG
11 All sunshine and sovereign is God, generous in gifts and glory. He doesn’t scrimp with his traveling companions.
Psalm 30:5 strength comes to those that don’t waiver in this season. We will find God’s strength greater this year but how we hold to His word.
Psalm 30:5 MSG
5 He gets angry once in a while, but across a lifetime there is only love. The nights of crying your eyes out give way to days of laughter.
Putting to action what you hear.
We must become people of discipline and in principle. A double minded man is not what He will accept in this year… James 1:2-8
James 1:2–8 MSG
2 Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. 3 You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. 4 So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way. 5 If you don’t know what you’re doing, pray to the Father. He loves to help. You’ll get his help, and won’t be condescended to when you ask for it. 6 Ask boldly, believingly, without a second thought. People who “worry their prayers” are like wind-whipped waves. 7 Don’t think you’re going to get anything from the Master that way, 8 adrift at sea, keeping all your options open.
God is looking for us to STEWARD well. Church can no longer not see you for weeks into months if you’re not being productive. Your blessings come by the way you serve your house that you’re in partnership with. When you truly desire the best things of God for your life you’ll serve Him every way you can.
John 4:27-42 conversation between Jesus and the disciples
John 4:27–42 MSG
27 Just then his disciples came back. They were shocked. They couldn’t believe he was talking with that kind of a woman. No one said what they were all thinking, but their faces showed it. 28 The woman took the hint and left. In her confusion she left her water pot. Back in the village she told the people, 29 “Come see a man who knew all about the things I did, who knows me inside and out. Do you think this could be the Messiah?” 30 And they went out to see for themselves. 31 In the meantime, the disciples pressed him, “Rabbi, eat. Aren’t you going to eat?” 32 He told them, “I have food to eat you know nothing about.” 33 The disciples were puzzled. “Who could have brought him food?” 34 Jesus said, “The food that keeps me going is that I do the will of the One who sent me, finishing the work he started. 35 As you look around right now, wouldn’t you say that in about four months it will be time to harvest? Well, I’m telling you to open your eyes and take a good look at what’s right in front of you. These Samaritan fields are ripe. It’s harvest time! 36 “The Harvester isn’t waiting. He’s taking his pay, gathering in this grain that’s ripe for eternal life. Now the Sower is arm in arm with the Harvester, triumphant. 37 That’s the truth of the saying, ‘This one sows, that one harvests.’ 38 I sent you to harvest a field you never worked. Without lifting a finger, you have walked in on a field worked long and hard by others.” 39 Many of the Samaritans from that village committed themselves to him because of the woman’s witness: “He knew all about the things I did. He knows me inside and out!” 40 They asked him to stay on, so Jesus stayed two days. 41 A lot more people entrusted their lives to him when they heard what he had to say. 42 They said to the woman, “We’re no longer taking this on your say-so. We’ve heard it for ourselves and know it for sure. He’s the Savior of the world!”
We don’t yield the results of Christ until we become hungry like Christ.
What does our meal look like in the eyes of the Father?
When was the last time we ate, and what have we been eating in replace of God’s meal?
Our habits or the lack thereof define the ingredients of our meals.
Shifting
Shifting is something that happens whether we choose to or not at times. There are times when we shift from one place to another like a house to a car. We have to make that transition if we are going to get to where we need to go. If not we will be in the house headed nowhere with no food, not able to pay bills because we have to drive to work for some of us, so why is it that we feel like shifting is not necessary in life in general. Food has a shelf life where if you don’t eat it you will shift it from the grocery store to your refrigerator and to the trash. How many of us are guilty of going grocery shopping spending a ton of money only for some of those same items we claimed we needed to spoil and have to throw away? This is not an unusual case in fact this country deals with
Ascending
This is to soar after you have acquired what you need from shifting.
Your lungs are going to have to adjust to the new altitudes as your attitude, mind, and soul shifts up people, places, and things will fall off  because they can not handle the dimensions that you are breaking through as you climb to the peak of where God is taking you. Just like an airplane you will experience turbulence it is expected. We have to stop thinking that elevation is smooth (SALT Crew and the church as a whole LOL). I have heard how some of you are trying to figure out why things are happening to you and why the warfare is so great. It is simple IT IS YOUR ALTITUDES ARE BEING ELEVATED!
Three keys to this year and they are 3 S’s
STEWARD- He is speaking to you, and He is showing what He needs you to do after you seek His voice for your life, now what God is showing or has shown you, and what
STRIP- God is stripping us of the old, and bringing us out from there (point behind me) to there (up and above in front of me)
SOAR- This means to execute what God gives you to start and if you do not finish there will be great consequences by not doing it. Every season will not grant us the grace to see it again. God is looking for those to steward what He has given us; he is not bartering with us in this season of what you will and won’t commit to God. What you put above Him, He will disrupt it and if He has to, destroy it. God needs our attention with His things, especially us. When you reach a certain height in soaring there is a certain amount of damage that one can have, we don’t want to be named among them in this season.
We need to be laser focused like Jesus with His assignment with every moment he had during his 33 1/2 years of living on this earth. Don’t look at how long He lived, but look at the power of His assignment. When we lock in we can live like King Hezekiah and ask God to extend our lives as long as we like to live.
2 Kings 20:2 MSG
2 Hezekiah turned from Isaiah and faced God, praying:
Don’t be like Manasseh! Manasseh took the Promise of God for granted for all of Judah and Israel bringing it to utter ruins.
2 Kings 21:7–9 MSG
7 As a last straw he placed the carved image of the sex goddess Asherah in The Temple of God, a flagrant and provocative violation of God’s well-known statement to both David and Solomon, “In this Temple and in this city Jerusalem, my choice out of all the tribes of Israel, I place my Name—exclusively and forever. 8 Never again will I let my people Israel wander off from this land I gave to their ancestors. But here’s the condition: They must keep everything I’ve commanded in the instructions my servant Moses passed on to them.” 9 But the people didn’t listen. Manasseh led them off the beaten path into practices of evil even exceeding the evil of the pagan nations that God had earlier destroyed.
An overturned Promise, yields swift judgment. We must never become so laser centered on Grace to where we dishonor and disrespect God to His face as if He never gets angered.
