Zachariah thought it was too late for him in certain areas of his life, yet he went on and did his assigned service in the temple.
It was later in life when God showed up and gave a message.
“a son…named John” (v.13)

“Elizabeth…pregnant” (v.7)
It was later in life when God showed up and showed a motive.
“he shall be great in the sight of the Lord” (vs.15-17)

The story of an old woman in a church constantly praying at the altar for her three sons to be saved.
She prayed and wept for years at the altar.
When anyone asked for prayer requests she always asked for them to pray those three would be saved.
A lot of people felt sorry and pity.
Some scorned her and thought she wasn’t living right and that’s why those boys didn’t go to church.
But God…
Vance Havner tells how he grew up in that church and went back years later and saw all three boys there serving the Lord with one being a deacon.
It is never too late!
