Our Father,

When there was nothing but yourself, the Son and the Holy Spirit, you spoke and created everything that is created. Without was nothing made. Without your word was nothing made. Without your Spirit, there is no life in all creation.
We worship and praise you. We glorify you as our Creator, but especially as our Redeemer. As covenant breakers, we have rights to appeal to you or ask you for anything. But Jesus, our covenant keeper, has made it possible to not only come to you in prayer but to call you our Father as well. We cannot even begin to thank you for the immeasurable grace that you have given us in Jesus, and this hour of worship is not enough. Help us to give you our whole lives in response to your grace and not just a Sunday morning. Help us to trust you with our whole lives in all circumstances.
Heavenly Father, we come before as people of The Crossing asking that you help us to be a part of the work of your kingdom in the Rio Grande Valley. We pray that the plans for 2024 are committed to you and your kingdom. That they are committed to spreading the renewal of the gospel to others. We pray that we would be faithful participants in the Great Commission that you have given your people. Help us to be good disciples. Help us to make disciples. Help those disciples to make more disciples. Bless the women’s group here and the new men’s Journey group. Bless our upcoming endeavors with Citrus Valley mobile home park and thank you for Sandra and her heart to reach people with the gospel as well. We look forward to seeing your work there!
This morning we also pray for those travelling. We pray for Dan and Becky Young. Thank you for their service to your kingdom and to us and others. We pray that you keep them safe as they travel.
We pray for Sammy as he travel to Tennessee.
We continue to lift up those among us who continue with health struggles of various kinds. We continue to pray for Rob, for Esther and her recovery, for Victor Martinez and for Dan Young. For those that go unmentioned as well be they physical or mental.
I also lift up my friend Ean....lord, he has served you in the past and has been distracted and fallen into alcoholism and it has taken a toll on him and his marriage. He has sought recovery and repentance but still has hurt his wife along the way....would you help him do what he can and must to find reconciliation and restoration with his wife that he is seeking. Sustain him in your grace.
We lift up all these to you and others that have come to the minds of those here while praying.... in Jesus’ name. Amen.
