**What do you believe about the Bible?**
In the Southern Baptist tradition, the Bible is believed to be the inspired and inerrant Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice, revealing God's will to humanity.
**What do you believe about God?**
God is believed to be the one, true, and living God, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is sovereign, all-knowing, all-powerful, and perfectly holy.
**Who is Jesus Christ?**
Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. He is the only Savior and Mediator between God and humanity.
**Who is the Holy Spirit?**
The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, co-equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and indwells believers, empowering them for godly living and service.
**What is a New Testament Church?**
A New Testament church is a local body of baptized believers who gather for worship, fellowship, and ministry. It operates under the Lordship of Christ and the authority of the Bible, with a focus on evangelism and discipleship.
**What is the mission of the church?**
The mission of the church is to glorify God by making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded, as outlined in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
**What are the ordinances of the church? And what is their significance?**
The two ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord's Supper. Baptism symbolizes the believer's faith in Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord's Supper commemorates Christ's sacrifice on the cross and anticipates His return.
**Tell how you personally have led a person to be saved?**
My personal experience in leading someone to salvation involved sharing the Gospel message, explaining the need for personal repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and guiding them in a prayer of commitment to accept Christ as their Savior.
**What do you believe about sin?**
Sin is any action, thought, or attitude that is contrary to the character or law of God. It separates humanity from God, and all have sinned and fall short of God's glory. Salvation from sin is only possible through faith in Jesus Christ.
**Tell of your involvement in Christian ministry through the local church?**
My involvement in Christian ministry has included various roles such as teaching Bible studies, participating in outreach and evangelism efforts, serving in church leadership, and engaging in prayer and discipleship ministries.
**What are your belief about and the practice of Christian Stewardship?**
Christian Stewardship involves responsibly managing the resources God has entrusted to us, including time, talents, and finances. It emphasizes generosity, sacrificial giving, and support for the church and its ministries.
**What do you believe about Heaven?**
Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of God, prepared for those who have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a place of perfect joy, peace, and fellowship with God.
**What do you believe about Hell?**
Hell is the eternal place of punishment and separation from God for those who have rejected Jesus Christ. It is described as a place of unending torment and sorrow.
**What do you believe about the second coming of Christ?**
The second coming of Christ is the future, physical return of Jesus to earth. It will be visible and triumphant, culminating in the final judgment, the resurrection of the dead, and the establishment of God's eternal kingdom.
