Two days ago, I dreamt that a church leader asked me, “what is the Lord saying to you?” Even though the question was not given in any particular context, I understood it to Min. What is he saying to me regarding this new season. Am I response in the dream was, “prepare for war “. It was not said, with a sense of fear, But with a sense of preparing for both a challenge and an impending victory.
Just a few minutes ago, I was watching a movie as I normally do after work, just watching something to get me to fall asleep. The subtitle, for the movie was, “Parabellum “. I hope it was never again, but didn’t take the time to look it up. Near the end of the movie, one of the main characters used the word in a phrase:
Si vis pacem, para bellum (Classical Latin) is an adage  translated as "If you want peace, prepare for war".
“Old soldiers never die, they just fade away” Gen. Douglas MacArthur April 19, 1951. We don’t cease to be soldiers when we walk away from the battle; we’re just soldiers who are out of order. We don’t get to quit this army- run as far as you want, but the MP’s will eventually find you. Men, you may have left God, left this ministry, but we are not letting you go!
“Spartans, lay down your weapons!” “Persians, come get them!” The enemy wants you to lay down your family, lay down your marriage, lay down your masculinity…let him know, if you want what belongs to me, you’ll have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers!
