Introduction:
The world is undeniably broken and in need of repair or fixing.
God describes the broken state of humanity in Chapter 1…
• Socially
○ Empathy, Humanity, Race
• Politically
○ Corruption, Greed
• Spiritually
○ Faith, Family, Identity
Even though we live in a world of broken things, we serve a God who specializes in fixing!
• When the earth was without form and void, He fixed it.
• When the earth was covered with water after the flood, He fixed it.

In our text, God is addressing the broken state of humanity, and provides a means by which whatever is broken in our lives, there is a fix, but it comes at the expense of the suffering Jesus Christ!
