umwilling to come under the autgority od God’s Word.
Liers
Empty talkers
Deceivers
Out for dishonest gain
Cretans: Liers, evil beasts, and lazy gluttons Defiled in mind and conscience (v15)
Unfit for any good work (v16)
The Error of the False Teacher
Jewish myths and commandments of men (v14)
Contrary to the word of God and the teaching so the church (v9)
The Disruption of the False Teacher
Upsetting whole families (v1)
False teaching is like gangrene. It always spreads, and it always defiles everything it touches.
The Answer to the False Teacher
They must be silenced
They must be reproved severely called to repentance
