A city set on a hill that cannot be hidden
Matthew 5:13–16 (NKJV) — 13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavour, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
This shews the perpetual visibility of the Church of Christ: for a mountain upon the top of mountains cannot be hid
The mountain of the Lord’s house shall be made so conspicuous that all nations are attracted to it.
A ‘temple’ is primarily a place for worship; a ‘house’ is primarily where the Lord has come to live among his people
the mountain of the house of God Refers to the gathering of Gods people
All of the nations shall travel to him While Isaiah’s message was directed at Judah, he looks ahead to a day when God’s salvation will be for all the nations, not just Israel.
God (Yahweh) had his residence on Mount Zion (Jerusalem), and his domain would eventually prevail over all other mountains.
The latter days is a time when the world would be set right and people would begin worshipping the one true God again
It is your season to be highlighted, elevated distinguished

Zechariah 10:1 (NKJV) — 1 Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.
Abundance of rain in the time of the latter rain
The set time to favour
The latter days is an expression for the future beyond the horizon refers specifically to the time of the Messiah
since Jesus inaugurated his messianic kingship by his resurrection, the latter days have arrived in a decisive way,
Isaiah’s future orientation in this section is also marked by his seven-fold use of “in that day” (Isa. 2:11, 17, 20; 3:7, 18; 4:1, 2)
The Church of Jesus Christ is the only hope of the World, and people will run into it for safety
and “the LORD of hosts has a day” (2:12), including both the near and distant future.
The exaltation of the Lord’s temple as the peak of world religion will be attractive to the nations.
“Highest” here probably means “most exalted in honour,” not actually physically highest. all the nations shall flow to it. By a miraculous magnetism, a river of humanity will flow uphill to worship the one true God (see John 12:32).
Exodus 15:2 (NKJV) — 2 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
Psalm 18:46 (NKJV) — 46 The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
Psalm 30:1 (NKJV) — 1 I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, And have not let my foes rejoice over me.
Psalm 46:10 (NKJV) — 10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!
Psalm 57:11 (NKJV) — 11 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.
Ezekiel 21:26 (NKJV) — 26 thus says the Lord God: “Remove the turban, and take off the crown; Nothing shall remain the same. Exalt the humble, and humble the exalted.
