VISION 2024: WHO WE ARE AND WHERE GOD IS TAKING US

INTRODUCTION

Proverbs 29:18 NET

When there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but the one who keeps the law, blessed is he!

The prophetic vision of God for His people guides us and keeps us from going in our own individualistic ways.

The prophetic vision is meant to call us to His purpose – our true communal identity.

FOUR PROPHETIC WORDS HAVE GUIDED AND GIVEN GREAT DIRECTION TO MY LIFE.

My mother – Eagle flying over barren trees and creating nests for stray birds to nest and find shelter. Age 3

An Elderly Fiery Red Head Missionary – You want to know how to preach like your pastor and you do not believe you ever will. God says, read my Word until it is written on your insides and then, I will speak through you, as I speak through your pastor. Age 16

Street Girl at a Mission church in San Antonio – Lord I want to play my head on your chest and hear your heart beat. The Lord says to you, son, lay your head on my chest and I will share with you the secrets of my heart. 21

Prophets from Alabama at Rehab 18 – God I need a wife to share the revelation you fill me with, I am going to burst – Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things will be added to you.

PROPHETIC VISION HAS THE ABILITY TO CATAPULT OUR LIVES AND CALL US TO PROPER ORDER IN CHRIST.

TODAY, I DESIRE TO SHARE WITH US AS A COMMUNITY A WORD GOD SPOKE TO ME IN NOVEMEBER THAT I BELIEVE IS A PROPHETIC WORD FOR US IN 2024.

Let me say, THREE important things:

Prophecies are never to supersede or replace the Holy Texts.

Prophecies do not supersede or replace a previous prophetic word but rather, build or grow out of the previous prophetic word.

Lastly, the prophetic is to be judged by the prophets. With that in mind, I sent this word to Chad Hayes, Justin Carr, Kurt Juszack, and Ben Robbins, seeking their wisdom and insight and confirmation on the word.

WHO WE ARE

Before I read that word to you for 2024 Let me start by reminding us of who we are!

Our DNA and culture if you will.

Acts 2:37–47 NET

Now when they heard this, they were acutely distressed and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “What should we do, brothers?” Peter said to them, “Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.” With many other words he testified and exhorted them saying, “Save yourselves from this perverse generation!” So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added. They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Reverential awe came over everyone, and many wonders and miraculous signs came about by the apostles. All who believed were together and held everything in common, and they began selling their property and possessions and distributing the proceeds to everyone, as anyone had need. Every day they continued to gather together by common consent in the temple courts, breaking bread from house to house, sharing their food with glad and humble hearts,praising God and having the good will of all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number every day those who were being saved.

THIS IS WHAT GOD HAS CALLED US TO, HOW WE ACCOMPLISH HIS VISION FOR US, AND THE VALUES THAT GUIDE US AND BUILD OUR CULTURE.

I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND THE PROPHECY I AM GOING TO SHARE IN NO WAY CHANGES THE VISION, MISSION, AND VALUES OF THIS COMMUNITY. IT IS MEANT TO SPUR US ON AND TO FULLY BECOME WHO HE HAS CALLED US TO BE.

WHERE GOD IS LEADING US

Last year, God gave me a word for this church in November and I shared it in December.

That word called us to the following:

Seeing and fearing His Holiness;

24 hour Prayer for a year to prepare our hearts.

Stay on our knees until holiness and His passion flow through us.

Promise of sending us to the world.

A promise that God will be using the Midwest as the Spiritual bread basket of revival and harvest.

2024 Prophetic Word

HAVE SOMEONE COME UP AND READ ISA 54

READ THE WORD!

You have spent the year seeking my face, many of you have devoted yourselves to seeking after me. I have met you with a calm Spirit, I have comforted you, I have brought peace to your hearts and minds. I have guided some of you and you have followed my leading. Others of you I have met with by opening your ears to the sounds of my throne. You have heard my heavenly hosts worship me and join with you in worship to me.

I have worked miracles in many of your lives over the last year, some of you have been set free from forces of bitterness, envy, and murder of the heart. I have revealed secret sins that have plagued you – a deep sickness of the heart and mind. I love you my children, I love our meetings, I love holding you in my arms and taking you to the secret place of rest and peace. I am with you, and I will continue to manifest myself to you.

Yet, there are a few things you must fight against and have victory over. You have cried out to carry my Glory and you have cried for me to bring revival to your church and the areas I have given you authority over as Sons and Daughters of God. You have mourned over your sins with tears and pleads for rescue. Yet, you refuse to hang your flesh on my cross, to put down your flesh by denying it the sickness it craves. You mourn but you do not mortify it. Do you forget that I have given you the power to wrestle control over your mind and sinful desires? Do you forget that you are called to yield to my Spirit in you and to resist the Devil? I have won but you must walk in the victory. My salvation is at hand, but you must live in it.

I have given the priests of God the honor of carrying my Glory yet in that honor comes my mandate. You must carry my glory on your shoulders, you must carry my glory together as one, and you must carry my glory with strength and beauty. You must be covered in my righteousness and not your own rags of sin. You must be devoted and sanctified to me. My glory comes with joy and shouts of praise for where my glory is there is victory. I will call you to play the fool in the streets for all the world to see, I will call you to dance before me, declare my victories over your lives, and to abandon your pride in your own dignity.

Like Micahl, those who are not seeking me will not understand your joy. They will declare you mad, but I through my Glory will fill even them with the fear of the Lord. I am not calling you to an emotion but rather I am calling you to a decision. Decide today, will you celebrate me in the face of my enemies? Will you dance before me in my victory and lay your false dignity to the side? You have been called to carry my glory through this nation and into the darkest corners of my world. I desire to send you in my glory but not until you are willing to carry my glory as the priests, I have made you.

You are a people of little patience, children who are distracted by shiny objects. You cry out in frustration when you do not see what I have promised, even while living in the promise. I have promised you revival, I have promised you new life, do you not see it? Do you not see the dead coming alive in your very midst? You have been fooled by the deceiver? I called you to pray for one year for revival, I promised you it would come. Yet your eyes were not aware of the life that was springing up all around you. You were looking for something big to attach yourselves to, you were looking for the shiny object. Here in your midst is new life, revival has begun to spark. Yet you of little patience, you who demand a shiny toy to brag about, you have missed it. You cannot even see the people you should celebrate with. Why are you looking over there, and why do you look to others? Why do you seek my promise where I have not placed you? I will tell you why? Because your eyes have been fooled and your heart has been deceived. You thought I would come like a storm, in waves pushing people to the floor, you thought I would show up and the masses would come. Look what you have missed my child, I have come, I came as Lord, I stood before the congregation and men and children did fall to their knees. I did not force them, I simply stood before them and they fell before me. Did you not see this? Did you not witness the hearts and souls of the young and old come before me as King? You were looking for the masses as evidence I am here. Yet you have forgotten, I have come to a few and I send them to the masses. Yet even now look around child, I have called men and women to me in this place. People you do not know, people you did not invite, people who do not know why they came, people I have called from afar to this place at this time.

You looked and did not see with the impatience of a toddler you gave up and you have missed a miracle. You have missed your own revival. But I am not done with you or this people. I am the God of all generations, and my patience is long lasting. I have not given up on you and if you will repent and open your eyes to the birth of new life all around you, your heart will grow warm, your depression will fall off, and your home will be saved.

Life church, I am calling you to carry my glory – I am calling you to mortify the sin that prevents you from carrying my glory into your homes, the surrounding communities, and into world. I am calling you to see what I have done, set yourselves apart, celebrate my victories among you, dance before my throne. I am calling you to cloth yourself in my white linen – my righteousness. Revival has come and is coming – Now I will begin to prepare you to be a sending church. I will send you with my glory! I will send you to the surrounding communities and you will carry the DNA I am building here and my Glory. I will send you to the world and I will bring the world to you. I will send you to husbands, your parents, your children, your neighbors, even your enemies and you will carry my glory.

This is a year to set yourselves apart – prepare to carry my glory. This is a year for cutting away. I will cut away the comforts that keep you from going, the familiar spirits that keep you in shame, and the sins that have won victories over your life. This is a year of multiplication – I will multiply those who are being revived and those I bring to you, I will multiply my presence and therefore your fear, I will multiply your joy and outbursts of celebration. This is a year of going out – I will send you with plans and MY Glory to reach your community – Osage is mine and you will go and take my glory to this city. This is the year you learn to carry my glory. This is a year of battle, I am calling you to partner in my work – battle the flesh in yourself, carry one another through encouragement, confront the pride that prevents you from celebrating me, and confront that which creates apathy.

THIS IS THE YEAR I TRAIN YOU TO BE A SENDING CHURCH!

FIGHT THE FLESH, PUT ON MY RIGHTEOUSNESS, DANCE AND CELEBRATE MY VICTORIES, AND GO!

MY MAIN TAKE AWAYS:

We need to focus on building up the following values.

Community / Fellowship

Life groups

Fellowship/ hangout groups

Corporate Prayer and Worship nights.

Mission trips (local and abroad)

Equipping

Train in evangelism

Spiritual gifts and motivational gifts.

Training in spiritual deliverance.

Train in community (Discipleship is always in community)

Send people to do some test runs - missions and church planting.
