Happy New year ! here we are 2024

Just before a new year begins, I usually pray asking the Lord to speak to me about the New year, what He wants to say to me personally, about my family and about our church, everything else just follows that.

Have you taken time, to ask your Heavenly Father for the word of the Lord, for 2024, for your life, for your family and church?, Is not too late, Just grab a cup of tea or coffee and invite the Holy Spirit to deliver the word of Lord to you, He wants to speak to you, He desires for you to agree with Him in prayer and see His will come to pass in your life.

Pro 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.

Vision, revelation, the word of the Lord, without a vision the people perish, others translate, unrestrained, without direction.

We need the word of the Lord, we need vision, or we will perish,

The best way to hear the word of the Lord, is from God Himself, so just ask Him?

As I was praying about this message, this is what I heard, He led me to this passage in the book of Jeremiah.

Now Jeremiah sent this letter, chapter 29, to those Jews that were in Babylon, one of the chief of the princes that was in Babylon was Daniel.

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Jer 29:12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

Jer 29:13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

God was speaking vision and Hope into their hearts.

I believe he wants to do the same thing for us this morning.

We need to Create a platform a place where His presence is welcomed!

1 Read Your Bible

Jer 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

This is a powerful promise from our Heavenly Father He is a good God, a perfect Father. We need to know in our hearts That He always has good plans for us, for our welfare and not for evil.

We need to position ourselves before Him so we can receive His blessings.

This message was given to this group of people who had been taken in captivity, this was not the best time of their lives.

Sometimes we are distracted by the circumstances around us, the enemy wants for us to believe that our loving Father is behind the evil that comes against us. God is not like that.

Psa 145:8 The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.

Psa 145:9 The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.

The best place for us to hear the word of the Lord is by reading His written word He wants to give you a future and a Hope.

Bible Recap is our response to the Lord as a church to create a platform for He to pour out His blessings upon us. I believe He wants to pour His presence on our streets.

When we Read the word of God , He will bless us, if you ask Him he will open your eyes to see and your ears to hear what He is saying.

Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Alive -because it reveals God’s character and will

Active because it transforms us by His Holy Spirit

Sharper than any double edge sword – Cuts through deception masks and falsehood.

Pierces and Judges THE DEEPEST PARTS OF OUR being, our thoughts, and attitudes of the heart.

Faith will grow in your heart when we hear the words of God.

Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

2 Call upon Him.

He will listen.

Jer 29:12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you.

As we hear his word we will have visions, this is our map for the future, we will call on Him and pray.

Effective prayer is when we agree with God and ask for His will to be done right her on earth as it is in Heaven.

When we don’t have the word of the Lord or a vision our prayers are very selfish

Jas 4:3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

When we are listening to Him and walking with Him we will see the way.

When we are in the middle of a crises, It doesn’t matter what kind of battle or struggle we are going through our Heavenly Father is right there for us.

Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

He sets a table right in the middle of my battle, a place of intimacy a place of nourishment and fellowship, He anoints my head with oil, He honors me, my cup overflows with blessings, a loving Father.

3 Look for Him, with all your heart.

Jer 29:13 You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

A few years ago I was reading a book by Lana Vawser, the prophetic Voice of God, and I remember one of the challenges she place before the readers was, to ask your Heavenly Father to show you what He was doing around you.

I remember praying for that and I forgot, the next day I found very strange that as I turned my car on my radio began to play 2 songs that I never bought or set up to play repeatedly, even though it seemed strange I like the songs so I just enjoyed it and I felt the presence of God in my car. Two days later I was praying, asking Him to show me what He was doing and He simply said, I’m here.

Then His amazing presence filled my car, look for him ask him to speak to you, to show you where He is, walk with Him in mind.

Pray asking God to show you what He is doing through out the day, what he wants you to see.

Elisha and his servant were in Dothan, the king of Aram was enraged with Elisha, because his men told him that whatever he spoke in his bedroom, Elisha the prophet would tell the King of Israel, so he sent his soldiers horses and chariots They went by night and surrounded the city.

2Ki 6:15 When the servant of the man of God got up and went out early the next morning, an army with horses and chariots had surrounded the city. "Oh no, my lord! What shall we do?" the servant asked.

2Ki 6:16 "Don't be afraid," the prophet answered. "Those who are with us are more than those who are with them."

2Ki 6:17 And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

2Ki 6:18 As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the LORD, "Strike this army with blindness." So he struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked.

The Lord will open your eyes to see what He is doing, and how He is protecting you from evil.

Ask the Lord to do this for you, is amazing what you will see.

God has called Mokuaikaua to be a culture of Blessings.

Eph 5:15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,

Eph 5:16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Eph 5:17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.

Eph 5:18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,

Eph 5:19 speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,

Eph 5:20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Eph 5:21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Predictions for 20224

1 The bible will continue to give answers for every situation.

2 Prayer will continue to give results.

3 The Holy Spirit will continue to convict hearts and minds.

4 Messages are going to continue to be anointed and powerful.

5 God will continue to inhabit the praises and worship of His people.

6 The church will remain.

7 God will continue to pour out His blessings over everyone.

8 At the foot of the cross always will have plenty room

9 Jesus will continue to seek and save sinners

10 God will continue to Love you!

Create a platform to welcome God’s blessings.

Read your Bible.

Call Upon Him

Look for Him, with all your heart.

Have you asked Jesus to be the Lord of your Life?

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Joh 3:16 To receive Jesus we need to accept Him as God’s son,

we need to repent from our sins and a life of selfishness,

ask Him to be your Lord and savior, not that we deserve it, but is a gift from God.

If you never bow down to Him this is a good time

If this is your desire tonight, please repeat this prayer after me?

Heavenly Father I’m sinner, I’m sorry for my sins,

I’m willing to turn away from my sins. I receive Christ as my savior, I confess Him as Lord And from this moment on, I want to follow and serve Him, in the fellowship of His church, In Jesus name, Amen!

1Co 11:23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;

1Co 11:24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me."

1Co 11:25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

1Co 11:26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes.

1Co 11:27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.
