JESUS’ MESSAGE = PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM

JESUS’ MINISTRY = DEMONSTRATION OF THE KINGDOM

Matthew 12:28 ESV

But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

THIS IS WHAT THE KINGDOM LOOKS LIKE

HEALING, DELIVERANCE, PREACHING, TEACHING, PARABLES, POWER, PRAYER = THIS IS WHAT THE KINGDOM LOOKS LIKE

Matthew 10:7 ESV

And proclaim as you go, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’

Acts 1:3 ESV

He presented himself alive to them after his suffering by many proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.

Revelation 22:1 ESV

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

WE ARE LIVING BETWEEN TWO AGES

ALREADY & NOT YET

WE ARE LIVING IN THE PRESENCE OF THE FUTURE

IN JESUS AND THROUGH HIS SPIRIT W/IN US, THE FUTURE IS INVADING THE PRESENT

THE PROCLAMATION OF THE KINGDOM DEMANDS A RESPONSE: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THIS KINGDOM: ACCEPT IT OR REJECT IT?

WHAT ABOUT US, THE CHURCH

Matthew 16:19 ESV

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”

Matthew 28:18 ESV

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

WE, HIS CHURCH, HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE VERY POWER AND AUTHORITY OF JESUS

OUR PROCLAMATION: REPENT THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS HERE!

OUR DEMONSTRATION: THIS IS WHAT THE KINGDOM LOOKS LIKE
