v19 Satan takes the word away from them
“But I am a good person”
God wouldn't really send people to hell
God could never forgive me
Some will receive the word with joy, but fall away
v5-6 on rocky ground where they did not have much soil, and the son rose and scorched them
v20-21 has an emotional response
make’s a decision (decisionalism)
but there is no depth
It’s a superficial faith
Some will be uninterested
v7 among the thorns and choked out
v22 more concerned with today than eternity
having fun dating around
worried about money
partying
Some will be saved
v8 on good soil and produced fruit
