Preparing to Change
Preparing to Change
Today we continue our New Year’s focus on “preparing for change”
I invite each of us to think about “Preparing for change” on three different levels (slides)
Three aspects of Preparation for 2024
Preparing yourself (prayer, scripture reading, service to God/others)
Preparing as the church (Change through prayer and discipleship)
Preparing Communally for what is coming (expect the unexpected this year)
The more we prepare personally/spiritually (prayer, worship, keeping our nose in God’s word)
The more we prepare spiritually as a church (seeking God for changes in ministries, outreach and discipleship)
The more we are prepared for the unexpected in 2024 the more we will be spiritually prepared to weather the storm together.

Former Vice President of the United States…stating his opposition to Donald Trump…urged people to not read too much into early primary victories…and…I quote… “Something tells me this year
