Introduction/Layout: It All Starts At Home

2 Timothy 1:1–7“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God’s will, for the sake of the promise of life in Christ Jesus: To Timothy, my dearly loved son. Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. I thank God, whom I serve with a clear conscience as my ancestors did, when I constantly remember you in my prayers night and day. Remembering your tears, I long to see you so that I may be filled with joy. I recall your sincere faith that first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and now, I am convinced, is in you also. Therefore, I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.”

There are 4 important factors that Parents/guardians Need to Know & Recognize during this series

Satan and his demons are attacking our children & youth

Mark 9:21 ““How long has this been happening to him?” Jesus asked his father. “From childhood,” he said.”

Matthew 15:22 “Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely tormented by a demon.””

This is nothing new: Satan has been trying to kill God’s children since ancient times.

Exodus 1:16 ““When you help the Hebrew women give birth, observe them as they deliver. If the child is a son, kill him, but if it’s a daughter, she may live.””

Exodus 1:22 “Pharaoh then commanded all his people, “You must throw every son born to the Hebrews into the Nile, but let every daughter live.””

Why is Satan so after our youth/children?

Because Satan is after the anointing and the prophetic call that God has purposed and designed for your child’s life to be used for the glory of God and to defeat Satan’s kingdom.

This os why you as parents must protect the child or children that God has given to you at all cost!

This is why you as a parent can’t mingle with world and expect your child to act righteously, if you are not acting righteously. If you act a fool, and ungodly throughout the week and come up here on Sunday and act like you are holy, “Having the form of godliness but deny the power thereof , “

It confuses them...

Satan is after there destiny and prophetic call:

Joel 2:28–29 “After this I will pour out my Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your old men will have dreams, and your young men will see visions. I will even pour out my Spirit on the male and female slaves in those days.”

Acts 2:17–18 “And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all people; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. I will even pour out my Spirit on my servants in those days, both men and women and they will prophesy.”

2. Satan’s strategy/aim is to decieve our children/youth into accepting him, all of his wickedness, hellious, demonic behavior and activitities in order for our children to join his kingdom .

Joshua 24:15 “But if it doesn’t please you to worship the Lord, choose for yourselves today: Which will you worship—the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living? As for me and my family, we will worship the Lord.””

2 Timothy 3:1–5 “But know this: Hard times will come in the last days. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, proud, demeaning, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, without love for what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to the form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid these people.”

1 Corinthians 6:9–11 “Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be deceived: No sexually immoral people, idolaters, adulterers, or males who have sex with males, no thieves, greedy people, drunkards, verbally abusive people, or swindlers will inherit God’s kingdom. And some of you used to be like this. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

Things that we need address for clarity

God is not confused about anything that He created. if there is any confusion is not of God but Satan!!
