To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian Friends, Well Wishers, and Saints of God it is the first communion of the year and I’m so grateful to give God the glory for His righteous ways and His Holy works.

The Lord has been good to us. And the David said some interesting things about the Lord that I want to share with us today. In this new year I want us to be focused on how righteous our God is. and How Holy all of things that God does and how He works. Give me 12 more minutes and I’ll be out of your way.

1. David said in his first sentence Lord I praise your greatness, because you are my God and my King. Lord I will praise you forever and ever. David said Lord “I will praise you every day. Then David went to eternal Praise when he said Lord I will praise you forever and ever. And we can clearly see how David was the apple of God’s eye. Even though David messed up badly, he still loved God with his whole heart.

3. David said Mamas and daddys yall ought teach your children about the wonderful, majestic, glorious, mighty acts and miracles of the Lord God Jehovah. Church David said we ought teach our children about the Amazing things God does.

5. David teaches us that the Lord is kind and shows mercy. God is merciful and doesn’t get angry with us when He knows we don’t measure up. God loves us so much.

Tell your neighbor: God loves us 6. In verse 9 David says The Lord is good to everyone because He made us and He knows all about us. And that’s why the Psalmist said Let everything that has breath praise the Lord Praise ye the Lord everybody. Hallelujah Glory to God. Lord we bless thy Holy and righteous name.

7. David even spoke about God’s Glory in His Kingdom. And this speaks to the eternality of God. There is no end to God’s Power. There is no rival against God’s Power. There’s not equal to God’s Power. There no demon in hell that can come up against the Power of God!!! And the church said Amen

David said In verses 12 &13 that I’m going to tell it everywhere I go so everyone will know the mighty things you do because Lord your Kingdom will go on from everlasting to everlasting from infinite to eternity forever and ever. And David Lord one thing I know for sure about you and that is Lord you keep your promises. Your Promises are yeah and Amen.

10. If you need food David said God will put food on your table, if you need a roof over your head David said My God will be a shelter in the time of a storm.

Works and ways. Ways and works. We ought to always acknowledge God’s will God’s ways and God’s works. Psalm 145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. 12. In verse 18 David said Pray to God so you can be close to God. You can’t be close to God if you don’t ever have a conversation with Him. Because if you need something and you talk to God about it David said God gives his saints what they want and God listens when we cry out to Him. Can I drop something down in your lap where you can get it. Stop telling everybody about your troubles and talk to God about it. God will save you from that trouble!!!

Yeah so keep your business private keep your business between you and the Lord because Verse 20 says 20 The LORD protects everyone who loves him, but he will destroy the wicked.

Well I’ve got to close here But tah David said in verse 21. I will praise the LORD. And Let everyone praise his holy name forever. Great God Yes If I had ten thousand tongues if wouldn’t be enough to praise my God. um um um Because God’s been Good to me yes God has made a way out of no way. and He has worked it all out. Because when the devil thought he had me the Lord stepped in and made old death behave and that’s why I just want to say thank you Jesus because if it had not been for the Lord on ,my side I don’t know where I’d be. Because I should’ve been dead. Oh Lordy Yes.
