The book of Hebrews was written to a jewish audience
The overarching theme of this book is the Superiority of Christ
-So immediately when reading this they would be faced with Jesus

Hebrews 1:1–3 “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;”
God Spoke THROUGH the prophets (Communication)
now he speaks to us through his son (Conversation)
-John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
-John 1:14 “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
-1 Timothy 2:5 “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
