Run The Race

Hebrews 12:1–2 ESV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

These people witnessed God’s faithfulness and power.

They had faith that God would keep His promises.

They are a great cloud of witnesses.

Some people you know have witnessed God’s faithfulness too.

That was then, this is now: We are all living to witness God’s faithfulness.

God has things He wants to do in our lives. We are to keep trusting Him and move forward.

As we move forward, we are to fix our eye on Jesus.

Jesus is the one who leads us! Jesus led by his life, death, and resurrection.
