Be ready

Be willing

Be Humble

Advice and encouragement for the congregation:

It is important to realize that David is a member of the congregation just like you all are. However, the role that God is calling David too and the rest of your pastors is deserving of respect and honor… but don’t pedestal them.

David will make mistakes and fail you… don’t abandon him. Christ didn’t abandon you, don’t abandon him either. Allow room for grace to be given and restoration to occur. He will be held accountable to God.
