Why study prophecy

1/4th of the Bible was written of prophecy.

God wanted you to know something about this subject.

It was written by the Holy Spirit, so He knows more then we…

The Word of God declares that Bible prophecy is absolutely accurate.

“We have a more sure word of prophecy...” more sure then what?

He is saying we are eye witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus Christ…

In a court of law the eye witness is the highest standard of accuracy possible…

St. Peter saying we the disciples are the eye witnesses of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, we are not deceived by fables but we saw Him, we are eyewitnesses of it. So we have a more sure word of prophecy which is greater in accuracy the eyewitness account.

Peter continues to say,” the prophetic word is the light that shines in a dark place.”

A dark place is a place of moral corruption, political corruption, etc…

Never in history have we had such pathetic and incompetent leadership… police are being mocked and shot, our kids are being seduced by evil spirits and doctrine of demons by our education systems where once the 10 commandment were the foundation, but have now been banned and now it is teaching madnesses like transgender-ism…

It is important for me to emphasize I will only teach the Bible (God’s Word). I am not mad a the people I am mad at the results…

when you were born you were born to be a man or a woman. Anything else is demonized madness.

We the people should stand up and demand morality in our government.

Never in the history of this nation have we had leadership who were under the influence of other nations and committed to its own destruction…

through single mindedness, self gain and the like.

in plane words this is treason.

Any one politician can’t change this nation…

there must be a return to righteousness before we can be saved from our own demise.

The Bible says,” righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. (Proverbs 14:34)

The Bible says,” let God arise and let His enemies be scattered.”

Some christians have been intimidated by the people who run the media because they don’t want to be offended, they don’t want to be attacked they don’t want to be questioned.

They’d just rather quietly speak off in the corner and worship Jesus.

It’s time for the church to roar like a lion!

we are the church Victorious! IN JESUS NAME.

We should we study Bible prophecy because it reveals the Power and Wisdom of God to Absolutely Control the Future…

Consider the birth of the nation of Israel…

Every major prophet in the Old Testament prophesied that God was going to bring Israel back.

But then there is the prophet that did even further then that.

Israel is God’s prophetic clock: When the Jewish people are in Israel the clock is running…

When the Jewish people are out of Israel the clock is stopped…

Historically lets phrase that:

When the Roman army under General Titus surrounded Jerusalem in 70 AD they besieged the city of Jerusalem and 1 million people starved to death.

And then Titus took 70 thousand Jewish men to Rome to build the Colosseum, where gladiators fought for their lives and Christians were devoured by lions.

The Prophetic clock stopped and did not start again until May 14th 1948 when the nation Israel was reborn in a day fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah in chapter 66:8 saying,” a nation shall be born in 1 day.”

that nation was Israel, it was the greatest miracle since the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

But the prophet Hosea gives a prophecy that has specific dimensions that we need to know…

Hosea 6:1-2 “come let us return to the Lord for He has torn us and He will heal us. He has stricken us but He will bind us up. And after 2 days He will revive us and on the 3rd day He will raise us up, that we may live in His sight.”

IF HE LIVES IN YOUR SIGHT THAT MEANS HE IS THERE…

PUT THESE PROPHECIES TOGETHER:

the Bible says, “ a day with the Lord is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day...” (2 Peter 3:8)

So days starting from AD - BC or BC - AD (however you see that)

AD starting from zero to 1000 years is day 1 …

God disciplined Israel… the prophet said,” He has torn us…” (Hosea 6:1-2)

So what did God do to Israel, day 1?

They experienced The Crusades, the Pope called for 8 different crusades 100 thousand crusaders marched from Europe to Jerusalem with spears and shields and swords.

And they killed Jews from Europe to Jerusalem and from Jerusalem back to Europe.

7 of those crusades … the first time they went into Jerusalem they surrounded the synagogue filled it with Jewish women and children and set it on fire and while it was burning and they were screaming for their lives the crusaders were singing Christ we adore thee…

...This is history Christians don’t know, but the Jewish know it like John 3:16...

So when you go to them and tell them you want to tell them about Jesus and they look at you like you’ve got a deadly disease… that’s why.

The Bible says,” ...that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day...” (2 Peter 3:8)

He said on day 2,” He will revive us.” (Hosea 6:1-2)

So that takes us form 1000 to 2000…

We get to 1470 where The Spanish Inquisition, where King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella kicked the Jewish people out of Spain

And this has been their home for 1000 years...

But they kicked them out of Spain.

They confiscated their properties and put their money in the Roman church.

32,000 died because they would not convert to Catholicism. (historians debate anywhere from 1,500 to millions)

Then came the day of days in 1948 in the second day late in the afternoon Israel was reborn…

On the 3rd day the prophet says,”we will live in His sight.” (Hosea 6:1-2)

(David) Ben Gurion (Israel prime minister) announced to the world that Israel after almost 2000 years has been reborn…

On the 3rd day the prophet says,” we will live in His sight on the 3rd day, Christ has returned...

The 3rd day began at midnight in the year 2000…

We are 24 years into the 3rd day…

Very Biblically Factual we are going to see Jesus face to face in the 3rd day. Jesus will return and He could return before this day ends…

The birth of Israel is the greatest miracle since the resurrection.

This is the most important day since the resurrection of Jesus.

Never underestimate the Love of God for the Jewish People.

David’s Prayer in 1 Chronicles 17:20-22 (reads) “O Lord there is none like You nor is there any god beside You and who is like Your people Israel the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people…”

There is no verse that God has ever reversed that Love for Israel.

Deuteronomy 7,” for you Israel and the Jewish people are a Holy people to the Lord a special treasure above all the people on the face of the earth.”

To some, even a lot of people in the church this is an offensive verse...

God’s word says,”… I change not...” (Malachi 3:6)

We like to think of ourselves being first…

God simply says the Jewish people are a special treasure above all the people on the face of the earth.

(Why?) His Son went to earth as a Jewish person, AND the Jewish person made the redemption of the gentiles possible.

The 1st sign of Christ return to earth was the shocking and amazing rebirth of the state of Israel…

Israel has just celebrated its 75th year of independence and in these 75 years the state of Israel with a land space smaller than the state of New Jersey has cecome the epicenter of the world.

Jerusalem is the shoreline of eternity. (what does that mean?)

That means that everything that is important geopolitically or prophetically or spiritually starts and ends with the city of Jerusalem.

The Bible fact is that God blesses the Jewish people directly and through the Jewish people, blesses us the gentile people.

… think about it…

our blessings from the Jewish people … every word…

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Jewish guys...

Prophets Isaiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah… not a baptist or pentecostal in the group.

there was a time when if you were not from certain denominations you were not going to heaven… THANK GOD THOSE DAYS ARE OVER..

The 1st christian family was Mary, Joseph and Jesus.

The Disciples all Jewish people....

Saint Paul… Saint Paul writes in Galatians because we have received from the Jew spiritual things, we are obligated to them… to minister them into the material things… ( that’s written in your Bible ). “For freedom Christ has set us free,” Paul reminds us. And this freedom can only be understood in relationship to God. (read 1 Peter 1:4-6

It’s not something people preach about or teach about but it’s very much as true as John 3:16
