Intro and tension

Many of you know this story - Sitting in Queensland - Waiting - Plane taxi around the run way - Blue light not working - Give it a crack - Emma’s hands just tightened - white knuckled - I didn’t even know what the blue light was for.

Actually I didn’t even know how a combustion engine works.

However - I took a step of faith when I got on that plane. This is how we are saved by faith in Lord Jesus Christ!!

Ephesians 2:8 ESV

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,

Faith in what? Everyone has faith - but our Faith is rooted in the one who went to the cross, for your sins - The perfect Lamb, the Son of God - Jesus Christ.

I don’t know how the combustion engine worked ,but I stepped on in FAITH.

I have no idea how God loves me so much, but I believe in Faith Jesus died for me -

Here is good news - The ticket to get on this…is already paid…

Colossians 2:14 ESV

by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Paid by the blood of Jesus and the destination is eternity with Him.
