MORE ABUNDANTLY

Ephesians 3:20–21 (ESV)
20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
What’s your vision for 2024?
Whatever your vision is, God desires to do more.
God’s desire to do more is not just for what He does IN you, but what He does THROUGH you.
In order for Him to do it through you, He has to get it into you.
Habakkuk 2:2–3 (ESV)
2 And the Lord answered me:
“Write the vision;
make it plain on tablets,
so he may run who reads it.
3 For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.
The vision for your life has to come from Him. If your vision for your life is from somewhere other than the heart of God, it has no grace for you.
If you’ve been beating your head against a wall trying to accomplish something in your life and had no success, it’s time to make a change.
If you don’t know where you’re going or how you’re getting there, I want you to know tonight that God has a plan for your life. His plan for your is good, so your vision for your life can be good.
Jeremiah 29:11 (ESV)
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
As we approach this fast, I want you to approach it with expectation for what God is going to say to you. How is He going to give you new vision? How is He going to give you new focus? New prosperity? New healing?
God is not going to change because you’re fasting. That’s not the point. The point is to change you. To turn down the noise around you and turn up the voice of the Lord. What are you expecting Him to speak to you about? Expect more. And more. And more.
How do we do that? We make room for Him by emptying ourselves of all that doesn’t belong. Fasting is an emptying of ourselves. Literally. John 3:30 says He must increase and we must decrease.
Tonight, I want to invite you to decrease and allow Him to increase in your life. Receive impartation and a filling of His Spirit.
