Matthew 9:37-38

Matthew 9:37–38
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
The Lord has a prayer request.
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Pray them in to get them Saved.
Pray them up to get them Strong.
Pray them out to get them Serving.
Here are three QUALITIES each laborer must have:

I. The Lord’s Workers Must Be Faithful.

Numbers 12:7 “My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.”
1 Samuel 2:35 “And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.”
Proverbs 20:6 “Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness: but a faithful man who can find?”
Matthew 25:21 “His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”

II. The Lord’s Workers Must Be Fearless.

Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

III. The Lord’s Workers Must Be Filled.

Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”
To be filled with the Spirit you must be…
Saved.
Surrendered. (Romans 12:1-2)
Seeking. (Matthew 7:7-8)
