X. Conclusion. After Jesus commanded the unclean spirit to depart, people started to spread His name and deeds around the countryside.  The name of Jesus is still famous today.  Because of the gracious favor of Jesus who died and arose for us and for our salvation, we want others to know about Jesus today.  Because of the cross and the empty tomb Jesus wants to change the lives of people today for the better.  We want to serve others in Jesus’ name, so that they know the power of Jesus’ name too.  Whether or not the teaching of Jesus is familiar or new, the teaching of Jesus is full of power and love and forgiveness.  Our unbelieving world needs Jesus now more than ever.  Amen.
