Romans 1:8–15 (KJV 1900)
First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end you may be established; That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.

Paul Was Thankful for This Church

Colossians 1:9–11 (KJV 1900)
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Philippians 4:16–17 (KJV 1900)
For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Acts 16:5 (KJV 1900)
And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
Philippians 4:22 (KJV 1900)
All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.

Paul’s Purpose for This Church

Romans 10:1 (KJV 1900)
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Romans 9:3 (KJV 1900)
For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:
Mark 16:15 (KJV 1900)
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
1 Corinthians 9:22 (KJV 1900)
To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
