God’s Preparation, Preparation, Presence and Power in the Development of the Spirit Led Christian

A. Preparation of Christ’s Servants

Birth and Early Life of Moses:
(Exodus 2:1-10)
When Moses was spared from being killed as a baby because he was a male Hebrew child. Moses’ parents understood that God had a great plan for him.
(Exodus 2:11-16)
Moses is spared by Pharaoh's daughter, who who rescued him from the Nile River.
(Exodus 2:17-22)
Moses Escapes Egypt to find Refuge in Midian. This is where he had to go through his advanced training. [The Midianites lived in the Arabian Penninsula, on the east side of the Aqaba arm of the Red Sea (Sea of Reeds).

B. The Presence of God Revealed:

(Exodus 3:1-15)
God revealed Himself to Moses in the Burning Busch. This was to for God to get Moses’ attention and to demonstrate His power. God gave Moses his marching orders, which was to lead God’s people out of Egypt.
Moses felt incapable of this task (1Co_1:27 but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong.)
God’s response was to the He will be with Moses. God further revealed His name to Moses I Am, the very term Jesus used for Himself. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

C. The power of God:

God empowered Moses through signs and wonders and God’s resting His authority on Moses.
(Exodus 4:1-17)
Conclusion
God prepares us to walk in His presence and do the work He has called us to. He is give us the needed revelation, the power to walk with us.
Luke 10:19 says, (Jesus speaking) Behold, I have given you power to tread upon snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.
God has given His Spirit to empower us. Acts 1:8 says, But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and over all the earth.
In the process of preparation, and throughout our respective ministries God is with us.
His presence is revealed to us as we walk with Him and allow Him to make changes in our lives. Galatians 5:16 says, But I say, walk with the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh. Galatians 5:22-26 says, Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
Gal 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 
Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 
Gal 5:26 Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another. gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. 
Gal 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 
Gal 5:25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. 
Gal 5:26 Let us not become boastful, challenging one another, envying one another.
