Jesus has come to reviel the father

36 But the testimony that I have is greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to accomplish, the very works that I am doing, bear witness about me that the Father has sent me. 37 And the Father who sent me has himself borne witness about me. His voice you have never heard, his form you have never seen,

Father’s Day spending in 2023

This year, overall Father’s Day spending rose by 14.5%, to $22.9 billion. The average spend per person among the 75% of consumers who said they planned on marking the occasion also surged—from $171.79 in 2022 to $196.23.
According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), Mother's Day spending in the United States is expected to reach an all-time high of $35.7 billion this year, with the average household expected to spend a whopping $274 on flowers, gifts or special outings. That’s up from $246 per household in 2022, when total planned spending had surpassed $30 billion for the first time.
From 2013 to 2022, the biggest year-over-year increase came in 2021, when annual Father’s Day spending surged by 18.2%, to $20.1 billion.
A.W. Tozer said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.
Why is this important?
All this is necessary in order that we may know God, in order that we may worship Him truly, in order that we may have communion with Him, and be blessed by Him. So while we are concerned with very high doctrine, it all has a very practical purpose.

Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty,       creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,       who was conceived by the Holy Spirit       and born of the virgin Mary.       He suffered under Pontius Pilate,       was crucified, died, and was buried;       he descended to hell.       The third day he rose again from the dead.       He ascended to heaven       and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.       From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,       the holy catholic* church,       the communion of saints,       the forgiveness of sins,       the resurrection of the body,       and the life everlasting. Amen.
Is 66:13 As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
God discloses himself as

Conformity

We desire to know God—yes; but not merely that we may have knowledge, it is also that we may come into conformity with Him and with His plan for our lives.
Rom 12
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

God the Father

The Lord’s Prayer 5 “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 7 “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10  Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11  Give us this day our daily bread, 12  and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. 14 For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15 but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
**Claming God as our Father was uniqe thing Jesus introduced
You are seen: Father who is in secret (Matt. 6:18);Fasting 16 “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
♦ D1b Activity of God the Father your Father sees you (Matt. 10:29);
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
your heavenly Father will forgive (Matt. 6:14; Mark 11:25); your Father knows what you need before you ask him (Matt. 6:8); your heavenly Father knows that you need these things (Matt. 6:32); your Father in heaven will give good things (Matt. 7:11); may our God and Father direct our way to you (1 Thess. 3:11); may God the Father comfort your hearts (2 Thess. 2:16–17); an apostle through God the Father (Gal. 1:1); chosen by God the Father (1 Pet. 1:2); what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us (1 John 3:1); beloved in God the Father (Jude 1); how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13); it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father (Matt. 10:20); it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should perish (Matt. 18:14); according to the will of our God and Father (Gal. 1:4); of that day and hour not even the Son knows but only the Father (Matt. 24:36); grace and peace from God our Father (Rom. 1:7; 1 Cor. 1:3; 2 Cor. 1:2; Gal. 1:3; Eph. 1:2; Phil. 1:2; Col. 1:2); grace and peace from God the Father (2 Thess. 1:2; Titus 1:4; Philem. 3); grace, mercy and peace from God the Father (1 Tim. 1:2; 2 Tim. 1:2; 2 John 3); peace to the brethren, and love with faith from God the Father (Eph. 6:23); you will have no reward from your Father in heaven (Matt. 6:1).
♦ D2b The Father’s activity regarding Christ The Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world (1 John 4:14); as the living Father sent me and as I live because of the Father (John 6:57); he whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world (John 10:36); the Father who sent me bears witness to me (John 8:18
You are not the Father??? Jesus reviels
You Are of Your Father the Devil 39 They answered him, “Abraham is our father.” Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would be doing the works Abraham did, 40 but now you seek to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. This is not what Abraham did. 41 You are doing the works your father did.” They said to him, “We were not born of sexual immorality. We have one Father—even God.” 42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me. 43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word. 44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 But because I tell the truth, you do not believe me. 46 Which one of you convicts me of sin? If I tell the truth, why do you not believe me? 47 Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”
He isnt everyones Father
