Prophecy: Speaking over dry bones

Introduction

Good morning life church

We have a lot going on today so, I want to get into this asap.

I am going to speak on a passage of Scripture the Lord brought to my mind last night.

Ezekiel 37:1–2 NASB95

The hand of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. He caused me to pass among them round about, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and lo, they were very dry.

REVIVAL STARTS WITH AN AWARENESS OF DEATH.

In a vision God placed Ezekiel in the midst of the dry bones.

Aware of our own dry souls

Awareness of the state of the Church.

Awareness that the bones have been dry for a long time.

Revival always starts with an uncomfortable reality check!!!

Ezekiel 37:3–4 NASB95

He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, You know.” Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.’

YOUR OPINION DOES NOT MATTER, ONLY THE WORD OF GOD MATTERS.

In Ezekiel’s mind there was no way Israel was coming back, united and strong.

Ezekiel chose to rely on the Words of God and not on his own thoughts.

Stop the negative talk - stop doubting what God has declared.

Stope speaking your negative thoughts over people, over His Church.

Momma said - Nothing good to say, don’t say anything

No, nothing good to say, say, I don’t know how But God will!

GOD’S WORD OVER ISRAEL AND HIS WORD OVER THIS CHURCH AND THE CHURCH WORLDWIDE.

Ezekiel 37:6–10 NASB95

‘I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the Lord.’ ” So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.” ’ ” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

God is looking for a church that will speak His word over His church.

A people that will choose to speak the truth even though our eyes do not see it.

God is bringing revival

God will and is restoring His church

God will do it, not a man, not a movement, but God.

PERSONAL APPLICATION

Start speaking the Word of God over your lfe.

Stop speaking the wisdom of the world over your life.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Some of you have killed your own faith through your words.

Conclusion:

Prayer for God to open our imaginations to what God is doing.

Open our eyes and our ears to see and hear His heart and His desires.

Hold our tongue from negative speech and give us words that reflect your heart and what you are doing.
