the end of Christmas season in my mind. some of us were just getting our decorations down… it was always February in my family.

The Situation: America at war

The Border Crisis - A Christian Perspective

We need to talk about Illegal immigration today. it is all over the news, and it is an issue of vast controversy in the Christian Church.

We have a standoff between Biden and his lawless administration, and the state of Texas. 25 other states have aligned with Texas, and the dividing lines for another american civil war are becoming clear and this year is likely to even stranger than we can imagine. Why?

I could point to all kinds of facts, and theories bout political parties, and cultural values, but non of that would touch on what I feel is the actual deeper cause of all of this.

Satan is anxious to destroy America. America has been a strong supporter of Israel, and the largest missionary sending nation on the planet. That means it must be brought down.

No other explanation unifies the strange alliances we see around us. why would gays and transgenders strongly support Islam and even the terrorist attack of Hamas in Israel? Islam record against Gays and transgenders is horrific and Even the worst of the despicable crimes in the Christian churches pale in comparison. Yet Christians are hated

Politics are not the final answer.

The entire bible is full of politics and God repeatedly intervenes in the politics of government, through his prophets. So God expects his people to be involved in politics to exert God’s word into the public square. Yet Politics is not the focus on the Bible. The Focus of the Bible is God’s plan of redemption and Man’s rebellion, and the opportunity each person has to return to God.

Yet as God deals with America right now we are in a very interesting situation politically, spiritually, and the deception and darkness that is attempting to some against the light of the Gospel is evident in two political parties. As I see it.

There are effectively two Political Parties in the US. The Unified party and the divided party.

The divided party is so confused about God and his ways that they can’t decide what they believe about most of the most important critical and spiritual issues of our age, much less even communicate a clear message. Examples include why abortion is wrong, or what is important about marriage being between man and a woman. why transgender rights are a scam. The divided party is almost useless, and only some Christians in this party are are praying, speaking or acting with a positive influence.

The unified party is unified behind every demonic Idea you can image that is designed to pollute and destroy america but export that filth to the world. The last last few Democratic administrations have done more to destroy righteous values across the planet than we can imagine: you all know the prominent examples like legalizing and normalizing Abortions as “healthcare”, destroying the definition of Marriage, normalizing homosexuality, or redefining the role and definition of a “woman”, and now destroying children by teaching them to doubt there own sex, and subject them to all manner of self mutilation in the name of “healthcare”. Christians left in this party are unaware, or deceived.

As you can see, there is no party is God’s party. the question is not what Party is God with, but when we get to the ballet box, voting against the party that is being used the most effectively to thwart righteousness in this nation.

God is a nation builder, he guides nations, and he punishes nations. The bible is clear about God’s view of nations. Read Isaiah and look at how God deals with nations. The bible has much to say about nations.

America is no longer fallowing God, and neither political party is following God. But it is clear that one party (democrat) is completely sold out to every lie of the enemy. Voting against it is not going to solve Americas problems, the best it could do is delay the enemies plans a bit

Jesus is our only Hope

Our hope is not in politics. I want to make that clear.

Our Hope is Jesus the Messiah and Him alone. Period. He is our Hope.

He is the HOPE of the world.

The last days may get allot more difficult, at least in some places on the planet if you Believe your BIBLE, and you should it has a prophetic track record is so stunning very single open minded person who took time to review it would instantly turn their life over to Jesus, if they followed straight logic.

A spiritual Battle

Everyone is thinking 2024 is a major political show-down, but it is actually a spiritual war. If you ask God to see past the all the political hype going on - you will see that it is Americas God given calling that is at stake. Will we turn back to God and repent of our sins, destroy our high places were we are worshiping false Gods of Power, Money, and Sexual perversion, etc, for it is Gods love for the lost , and also God’s hatred against the sin that is destroying the lost that is the real power.

We believe we will see miracles and the hearts and minds of people come back to the living God. But the temptation is to take our eyes off of Jesus and get lost in all the dramatic waves of controversy and lies. We must stand guard and be understand and rightly divide the word of God so we know why we are standing and how to stand in a way that is righteous, loving and just.

the antichrist is the spirit of lawlessness, and failing to enforce the laws is lawlessness and it breads all manner of evil. I

Example: The Attack on Life

Pregnancy help centers are trying to provide help to Mothers that are anxious about their pregnancies. Most are are the definition of good Christian support, filled with volunteers and no government support.

Physical attack: After Dobs Pregnancy help centers were fire bombed across the US.

Political Senators and congress representatives were lying about pregnancy centers traumatizing and ticking women.

State AGs sending out consumer alerts against pregnancy help centers.

Big Tech Censorship: Google will prevent pregnancy help organization from showing up on maps. Google & Yelp will not let them advertise the abortion pill reversal.

CA AG sued heartbeat international for talking about abortion pill reversal. So while they could still provide the reversal pill they are censoring it so no one will know they have it.

there is a clear attack on life and against God and Christians from our government. this is a thing that many christains can agree on (but not all to my great sadness).

It proves the spiritual battle that is trying to come against God , and the deception that is coming against Christians.

Why talk about the boarder topic? Is this really important?

One of the biggest stories of the moment is what is happening on our boarder. And the satanic lies that are out there have the power to deceive the church. and Quite frankly there are many Christians that are confused about how to think about the boarder crisis.

It is looking like a show-down Texas (and 25 states that have pledged to support Texas) against the Biden administration and the Supreme Court of America. Texas spends 2 billion a year apprehending migrants, arresting criminals, seizing drugs, setting up barricades, etc…

Meanwhile the Federal government boarder patrol has been taking down the barricades, and helping and encourage the illegals to come in to the US. sometimes immediately after Texas national guard puts up barricades. Texas sued the Biden administration and the 5th circuit court of appeals released an injunction supporting Texas to stop the U.S. Boarder patrol from taking down the barricades. the Biden administration appeal to the US Supreme court and in a 5-4 vote the Supreme court sided with the US Border agents an overturned the injunction from the 5th circuit Court of appeals. Meaning that while the Court case is being decided the US Boarder agents can continue to remove barriers (as they were doing) Amy Cony Barrett and John Roberts and the other 3 liberal judges. - note that when you see a divided Court this is often a signal of a spiritual issue, that there is a clear lawful answer, but justices have sided with death and stand against abortion - are taking a stand against the law. - This is not always the case but it is a red flag to me that there is a spiritual component that should be addressed.

SO the Texas National Guard can and will continue to put up the barriers. Nothing in the ruling stops them.

At this point it is also very very clear that much of this year's news and events will be tied to the political contest between Donald Trump and someone else. it should be Biden by any normal election. But there is a credible suggestion that Biden will be replaced by someone else after the primary is over. Trump is the most hated and Man in the world I think. So on Tusday the next day the Biden administration renewed there demands to gain access to the (unlawfully and without any supere court justification) just to Eagle pass riverfront park that is a popular corridor for migrants illegally entering the U.S. Texas had till Friday to respond.

On social media, Abbott struck a defiant tone, issuing a statement that said Texas had a “constitutional right to self-defense”

25 states signaled that they sided with Txas and will help them. many sending more national gaurd.

SO you can see that this issue - is heating up to a flash point, and only God knows what wil happen and what the full plans are for both sides.

I don't intend to get enmeshed in the details… But wanted to provide the basic outline of the situation about why the boarder crisis is something we must know how to think about in a way that aligns with God’s heart.

God’s Heart and Mind

In 1 Corinthians, Paul must address a Pentecostal church that is a big mess. They are are divided, infantile, and acting sinfully. Before he starts ministering to them to help them back to way of unity, maturity, and righteousness, he says this:

1 Corinthians 2:14–16 ESV

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

When we see a major cultural issue, and we see that there is division, and lies, and a power struggle, we must not jump in with our “natural thinking” assuming we know what is right and wrong, and make natural judgements. Instead we must make “spiritual judgement”, and infact we have a right and duty to make spiritual judgement as a “spiritual person” because we have the mind of CHrist.

meaning that if we ask Jesus what he thinks about the topic Jesus will help us understand how to think about it and make a right judgement.

Therefore want us to be careful to seek the mind of Christ to gain strong TRUTH about the Christian values that are needed to understand how to stand on the issue of illegal immigration.

Love God & Love neighbor

Lets start with love, for without love we are only a clanging cymbal.

Luke 10:25–28 ESV

And behold, a lawyer stood up to put him to the test, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” He said to him, “What is written in the Law? How do you read it?” And he answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” And he said to him, “You have answered correctly; do this, and you will live.”

It looks like this is going to play an important part of understanding God’s heart. But lets not be too hasty…

Next ask what responsibility and authority God lies at the feet of each sphere of Governmental jurisdiction.

Civil Government, The Church, The Family, The Individual.

when we apply gods laws for the individual to a government things can get very messed up. Can you imagine a government turning the other cheek, and allowing an enemy to murder its citizens a second time? That would be evil. so we must recognize that some biblical commands have a right context for their application.

The role of Civil Government

The Bible tells us what god given authority and role the government has in the lives of nations and their citizens.

Romans 13:1–2 ESV

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

looks Pretty back an white, about Christians being subject to the government authority but … context is important. See what the expectations are for the government.

Romans 13:3–6 ESV

For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.

It is clear then that the government is supposed to be “ministers of God” to execute justice on the wrongdoer.

In general we can say that a government’d first responsibility is to protect its people from wrong doing and that would include protecting them from invasion. In fact it is seen as a sign that God’s favor is not on the nation when it is invaded and it’s sovereignty is attacked. (reference ???)

Yet there are clearly limits to the Authority of the government. It is implied in these verses, but explicit in other places in the Bible.

When the government becomes the wrong doer, what then?

In Acts 4, It was clear that when the Sanhedrin command Peter to stop preaching the Gospel, that they were no longer obligated to obey. they may suffer the consequences, and get captured, and punished, but they were to obey God first, and let God help them face the consequences of disobeying the government. Acts 4:19-22

The authority of a Government ends when it is commanding a citizen to break faith with God. This is why we have the 1st amendment:

First Amendment Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

God expected the government to have unbiased courts, (Exodus 23:2-8; Leviticus 19:15; Deuteronomy 1:17; 10:17-19).and it was a sign of great evil when they were no longer unbiased. Hab 1:2-4

Habakkuk 1:2–4 ESV

O Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? Or cry to you “Violence!” and you will not save? Why do you make me see iniquity, and why do you idly look at wrong? Destruction and violence are before me; strife and contention arise. So the law is paralyzed, and justice never goes forth. For the wicked surround the righteous; so justice goes forth perverted.

That impartial justice was to extend to the poor a needy for Jeremiah explains to King Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah that things go well for a king and his nation when he judges the cause of the poor and needy. Jer 22:15-16. And King Solomon begins with a prayer for himself in Psalm 72:4 that the king must defend the cause of the poor an needy. of course the clear context was citizens of his land.

Finally It is also clear that God intended there to be a boundary for the nation of Israel laying out that land area multiple times in scripture. (references)

It is also clear that God intended the government to assert its laws of justice within those boundaries. When a nation fail to provide justice, particularly a nation that knew better, it brought judgement by God, or if they did bring Justice, it brought the blessing of God upon the nation.

Limits on the Biblical model

I can’t take the time to go into the many other biblical requirements for Government, (it would take a college year long course to do it justice).

but I admit there are limits to what we can say about the typical role of governments and the specific role God had for the role of Israel and it’s government, since it was a special nation chosen by God to be distinct and different from all other nations.

America is not a religious monarchy, America is founded on Judaeo Christian beliefs so America was designed by our founding fathers, and led by God’s spirit through the great awakening, to be more like Israel than most nations.

In fact most of the declaration of independence and the Constitution and bill of rights was derived directly or indirectly from Biblical views. Of course they studied many other governments and histories, yet so much of ti came form the bible

Property rights, speedy trials, division of government into 3 branches, it is all based on God’s view of things.

Of note in the issue of immigration law and controlling boarders… it has been suggested that it is “UN-american” to suggest we not allow open boarders. This is a categorically false. As one of the points against King George by the colonists is that he refused to let them have any say on the immigration qualifications.

HE was dumping criminals on our shores, and It was when we one our Independence that England began dumping them off in Australia. Americans died to win our rights to enforce immigration Law in America. that is the Truth.

Dereliction of duty

The God Given Authority of Government - is to protect the nation.

It is easy to prove that the catch and release, and “magic words” that can be uttered by any one crossing the boarder now to “prove they are seeking political asylum” is allowing in criminals, terrorists, drugs, and human trafficking into our country. And it is being encouraged to help invite a ever increasing flow of more immigrants.

They are given a free cell phone and debit card, sleeping accommodations, and free transportation. This sounds like Christian love, but this calls for wisdom.

This may seam they may be providing refuge to some number of refugees feeling persecution in their county, but the illegal nature of this boarder crossing and overwhelming size and ad-hoc nature of the crossing is making it a humanitarian crisis.

It is harmful for US citizens that should be protected,

it is harmful for the illegal immigrants themselves.

so why is it happening?

What the Biden administration is doing is at best Dereliction of Duty and clearly a failure to uphold the constitution. Why are they not being impeached? and boarder agents arrested? Why?

On the surface one could say that they think that adding 6+million votes of people that are dependent on the government for handouts, will win them the Democrat elections in perpetuity. The plan is pretty sound and could conceivably already won them the 2024 election, if you did not factor in God and the power of Prayer.

The Role of The Church

While the God given role of the government is to provide protection and enforce laws with the power of the sword, the Church has a different mission.

Gods message to the Church. - preach the Gospel. or tend to the needs of the poor and downtrodden. James says that taking care of the needs of orphans and widows is part of religion “pure and faultless” (James 1:27).

James 1:27 ESV

Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

We as Christians are to have compassion.

We are also told to be innocent as doves and wise as serpents.

The early church headed Jesus love and concern for the poor and the voiceless and powerless. But there were some practical priorities that were designed to help serve the most people with the support that is best.

1 tim 5:1-16

1 Timothy 5:1–16 ESV

Do not rebuke an older man but encourage him as you would a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity. Honor widows who are truly widows. But if a widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to show godliness to their own household and to make some return to their parents, for this is pleasing in the sight of God. She who is truly a widow, left all alone, has set her hope on God and continues in supplications and prayers night and day, but she who is self-indulgent is dead even while she lives. Command these things as well, so that they may be without reproach. But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. Let a widow be enrolled if she is not less than sixty years of age, having been the wife of one husband, and having a reputation for good works: if she has brought up children, has shown hospitality, has washed the feet of the saints, has cared for the afflicted, and has devoted herself to every good work. These piratical guidelines show us that simply setting up a soup kitchen may not be the best solution. God expect those that can work to work. this should be the case for american citizens, immigrants, and illegal immigrants. you must work for your food. unless you can’t. and then you must receive help from your family.

The church should setup some guideline to help them help those that truly deserve help and will not perpetuate a dependency

You help your family first.

expect those that can work to work for the help they receive.

quality those that receive help from the church looking for handouts.

There will still be so many that they church needs to help we will be overwhelmed.

The Role of the Family

Parents must must protect their children and family, this supersedes the needs of strangers if there is a potential conflict. But family s can often help minister to the poor an needy and can be a tremendous part of the ministry.

The Role of the Individual/married couple

What about loving our neighbor.

Who is my neighbor?

Lets go back to jesus teaching with the Lawyer

But he, desiring to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” Jesus replied, “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who stripped him and beat him and departed, leaving him half dead. But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. He went to him and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. By asking this question am I like the lawyer that is seeking to get myself off the hook?

So is the illegal immigrant crossing our boarder our neighbor?

I can think of almost no better modern analogy.

Our government's lawlessness has brought to our very backdoor, people that may need help.

Romans 12:9–13 ESV

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.

Christian minds are being manipulated about the Board policy

Christian thinking is being manipulated about the boarder crisis.

I am going to read a series of “tropes” slogans and arguments being used to convince Christians it is a godly thing to support illegal immigration.

If you have not hear these tropes this is a chance to understand how we should think about them. Each ideas designed to sound good, but when you look at it carefully you see how deceptive it is.

Would Jesus lay down razor wire that endangered helpless brown children? Wasn’t he more brown than white himself? Didn’t he say “Suffer the children to come unto me”?

This attempts to get us to think that our opposition to illegal immigration is racism. despicable as that is a complete lie. It is instead our love for these people that is motivating our stand. we support Charlie's Lunch. A ministry started by the brother of Julie Koon a previous pastors wife. they bring both the Gospel and meals to the “brown” children.

The razor wire is used because Biden blocked the building of the wall. The wall represents greater benefits to Mexico than the US. #1 the sex trafficking is posing a clear and present danger to the Mexican children. If they had to go through checkpoints this would be greatly reduced. the movie “Sound of Freedom” shows this in action. Sounds like Jesus would before a wall, and razor wire barricades if it protected children.

Mark 9:42 ESV

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

The reason God gave the government the authority to use “Sword” is to stop wrong doing. and Jesus would have our government stand up and perform that role and clean up crime . Since this trope attempts to get us to think in a stark dramatic way what would Jesus do, lets truly consider what he would do. Let’s look at the facts. For instance, the findings of the new data on federal crimes (U.S. Sentencing Commission (USCC) Data on Federal Convictions Fiscal Years 2011-2016). Non-citizens account for a much larger share of convictions than their 8.4 percent share of the adult population. They account for:

42.4 % of kidnapping convictions. (5x higher)

31.5 % of drug convictions. (3x higher)

22.9 % of money laundering convictions. (alomst 3x higher)

13.4 % of administration of justice offenses (e.g. witness tampering, obstruction, and contempt). (1.5x higher)

And 17.8 % of economic crimes (e.g. larceny, embezzlement, and fraud); (3x higher)

Hard working Americans of every race pay for all this. Over $100 billion in tax dollars go to support of illegal aliens. This is theft, as is voter fraud that is now well-documented across the country, with non-citizens voting.

Allowing noncitizens to steal the vote

In 1996 Us congress passed a law prohibiting non-citizens from voting in federal elections (But did not address state elections), violators will either pay fine, 1 year in prison or both - and are inadmissible to receive visas, and ineligible to be admitted to the us, and deportable.

But realize our mail-in voting has huge holes and there is no assurances they they would spot non-citizens votes.

As of March 2020 2 state constitutions specifically denied non citizens ability to vote. (AZ and ND - and CO, FLorida, and Alabama added amendments Nov 8th, 2020). And no state constitution expressly allowed non citizens to vote.

Fifteen municipalities across the country allowed noncitizens to vote in local elections as of January 2022. Eleven were located in Maryland, two were located in Vermont, one was New York City, and the other was San Francisco, California.

According to the Pew Research Center, there were approximately 25 million noncitizens living in the U.S. as of 2017. That included 12.3 million permanent residents and 2.2 million temporary residents in the country with legal permission and 10.5 million living in the country without legal permission.[3]

The Bible says “Welcome the stranger,” not “Make America great again.”

While literally true, it is a particularity horrible deceptive lie.

The Evangelical Immigration Table helped lead the fight for the Schumer-Rubio Bill amnesty efforts. It did so with a partial verse from Matthew 25, “I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” Evangelical Immigration Table (EIT) is funded by pro-abortion National Immigration Forum (NIF) of Soros’s Open Society, Ford and Rockefeller foundations.

The realities has a good deal of verses and laws about how they were to treat the “foreigner” and “sojourner” and it was with utmost respect. August 9, 2020 I preached a sermon on this issue. Realities were to treat “foreigner” with all the rights and privileges as a Jew. the reason was simple. they had been “foreigner” and “sojourner” in Egypt and they were to treat others the way they wanted to be treated.

This sound like we should have open boarders and let illegal immigrants have citizenship. But you would be absolutely wrong. Because there is one verse that is an exception to all those verses that allowed them to treat a “foreigner” differently - looks like a bible contradiction till you look at the Hebrew and realize they are using a different word for “foreigner” in that verse. We don’t need to be school in christian doctrine by people that Jesus was clearly include in the label “satan spawn” - like he did when he confronted the pharisees and called the “children of the devil” and blind guides. A great america is good for the strangers and the poor of the world. America welcomes more strangers legally than any other nation. (million legal immigrants per year.)

A strong and great america lifted Christians out of poverty and enabled them to go take care of the poor. It has been Christian charities throughout the world mostly from america that have done more to elevate the the pain suffering and poor in the world than any other nation on the planet. It is this very thing that Satan is trying to stop.

Radical hospitality is key to the Gospel call, which is why Jesus dined with sinners.

FALSE. The key to the people call is salvation. Jesus dined with sinners not to create a manifesto of radical hospitality (used to justify homosexuality) or defend cleverly disguised Marxist ideology. Our loyalty is to the Church invisible, which has no borders or limits.

The church is without boards (TRUE) , but our government is not. Real pro-lifers welcome migrants, not just the unborn.

This is a very bitter and disingenuous accusation. They cleverly dropped the “illegal” bit. We do welcome migrants that are legal. I favor allot more legal immigration into the US. because I am pro-life and compassionate. I feel that when someone waits in line for a good reason, it is wrong and evil to allow others to budge to the front of the line.

Social justice writers like Jim Wallis a theologian, writer, teacher and political activist known as the founder and editor of Sojourners magazine say things like “The radically anti-government ideology of the current right wing Tea Party ideology is simply contrary to a more biblical view of government,” he consistently takes the bible out of context and uses it as a weapon to support his activist views without considering the full view of scripture on the topic.

Non-Government “Christian” Organizations like “World Relief” posture as Christian charity, but actually activist groups that have an invested financial interest to count each illegal immigrant as a “refugee” — and to see the crisis continue. We need to be careful on how we go about helping situations were we can do more harm than good. Lord give us wisdom.

God’s greatest Good is bring the message of Jesus of the world. It is our greatest mission.

That mission is being attack and destroyed by the current attack on America by our own government and our Political parties that have been falling for the Devils lies in the form of Socialism , Marxism, and the war on the family, sexual identity.

We go to the least, because they are the ones that are most likely to hear the Gospel as we demonstrate the tangible love of Jesus.

I think that responsibility starts right here in our Cities If we become aware of illegal immigrants in our city, we must realize they are being treated as pawns and may easily qualify as the least among us.

But to those that are lost apart form God, we have responsibility to bring them the Gospel. We can ask God how we can help. We may find out hat in the next few months we are in a position to love these people with Jesus.

we are not going to be manipulated by the world on this topic. we are going to have the Father Heart of God on this.

I know we may be afraid for fear they are criminals, but I also know that many are not and are more victims. Lets not be afraid to love them like Jesus.

Demand to see our boarders closed, the wall put up, and immigration laws restored. The question of what to do with those that are now inside our boarders illegally is painful. but it is not right for them to be naturalized ahead of legal immigrants. They must be vetted and processed, and be handled based on our laws. Criminals prosecuted and removed. Those that are able to become US Citizens should have to go through a more intense version of the Citizenship process. Those that have broken our laws must have to pay recompense in some way, such that it is both compassionate, but also proves that the only way you should come to this country is legally. This calls for wisdom and tough-love.

Prayer for the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of the United States needs our continued prayers. Not only because they are deciding whether to hear a critical case about the federal mandates that required military personnel to take the COVID-19 vaccine but also because they have a slate full of weighty cases as they return from winter break.

Their caseload includes:

the issue of whether the First Amendment protects social media platforms’ handling of user content;

a lawsuit restricting access to the abortion drug mifepristone;

the question of whether or not bump stock devices are considered machine guns and whether the Biden administration ATF bypassed Congress to ban them;

the issue of whether a government regulator threatening entities like the NRA with regulatory actions for doing business with a controversial speaker — allegedly because of the government’s own hostility to that speaker’s viewpoint — violates the First Amendment;

the issue of whether a court of appeals correctly determined that the indictments in three cases stemming from the January 6 Capitol Hill events permissibly included a charge of corruptly obstructing, influencing, or impeding an official proceeding, based on each petitioner’s violent conduct on that date.

These cases potentially have far-reaching effects on free speech, gun rights, government powers, abortion, social media censorship, and government overreach.
