How to Have Great Victory
Romans 8:37 NIV
in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Romans 8:37 NLT
overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
2 Kings 13:14-19, 25
Now Elisha was suffering from the illness from which he died. Jehoash king of Israel went down to see him and wept over him. "My father! My father!" he cried. "The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" Elisha said, "Get a bow and some arrows," and he did so. "Take the bow in your hands," he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king's hands. "Open the east window," he said, and he opened it. "Shoot!" Elisha said, and he shot. "The LORD's arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!" Elisha declared. "You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek." Then he said, "Take the arrows," and the king took them. Elisha told him, "Strike the ground." He struck it three times and stopped. The man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times." ... Three times Jehoash defeated him [the King of Aram], and so he recovered the Israelite towns.

2 Kings 13:16-17
"Take the bow in your hands," he said to the king of Israel. When he had taken it, Elisha put his hands on the king's hands. "Open the east window," he said, and he opened it. "Shoot!" Elisha said, and he shot. "The LORD's arrow of victory, the arrow of victory over Aram!" Elisha declared. "You will completely destroy the Arameans at Aphek."
Luke 19:41-42, 44
When the city came into view, he wept over it. "If you had only recognized this day, and everything that was good for you! But now it's too late ... because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you."
Proverbs 29:18 MSG
If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
3rd Key: Refuse self-centered thinking
2 Kings 13:18 NIV
Then he said, "Take the arrows," and the king took them. Elisha told him, "Strike the ground." He struck it three times and stopped.
4th Key: Respond with enthusiasm to whatever God is doing
2 Kings 13:19 NIV
The man of God was angry with him and said, "You should have struck the ground five or six times; then you would have defeated Aram and completely destroyed it. But now you will defeat it only three times."
Romans 12:11 NLT

Deuteronomy 28:47-48a
If you do not serve the LORD your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received, you will serve your enemies whom the LORD will send against you.

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.
