Jesus Pt. 2

In the beginning was the Word. The Word that was in the beginning tamed the wild and waste, and flooded the deep darkness with light. The Word formed the heavens, the seas, and the land, and filled them with life. Through the Word all things were made; without the Word nothing was made that has been made. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. This one was in the beginning with God. In him was life, and the life was the light of mankind. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. The Word became flesh and tabernacled in our midst. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
