one of the most important things to ask when studying something

we talked about some of this inadvertently last time

who what when where why how kinds of questions

these things matter for the reasons that we talked about when we did the series on scripture out of context

if you are studying without context in mind, you may draw conclusions that don’t apply correctly, which leads to confusion and possibly hurt

Application

studying is good and its amazing that you even come twice a week or more to be a part of the study we do

but if you can’t start your own study that leads to constructive thought, you will find yourself lost

you’ll have difficult questions and not know how to reach any positive conclusions

study well, know your God, and your life will lead others to him
