The Deliverer

Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

To begin with brothers and sisters, Christian friends, Well wishers and Saints of God, as we glint, gleam, and gaze at this glorious text there are a plethora of powerful prominent features in the word of God that we shall “never overlook”. First and foremost God in His ubiquitous nature is Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent. In other words there is none like Him. God is Superior to anything anyone and/or any place.

God is our Deliverer and for about 15 more minutes I’d like to tell you a true story. Y’all got a minute?

And so the story that I’m telling began with the oppression/and slavery of the Hebrew people. The bible says that there came a Pharaoh that knew not Joseph and all that he had done as a deliverer for Egypt and the known civilized world at that time. And now some 430 years later the Israelites are slaves in Egypt.

God hears their cry and the bible says in Exodus 3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey;

Let me pause for a second, God knows what you’re going through. And He cares about every detail in our lives. And the church said Amen.

And Moses was a Hebrew baby boy that was going to be killed as soon as he was discovered but Pharaoh’s daughter couldn’t have children. So Moses parents built a little basket and floated him in the swallow waters of the Nile River. Pharaoh’s daughter would oftentimes bathe in the Nile River. She saw the baby floating in the Nile and told her servants to go get him. She named him Moses. She said because I drew you from the waters of the Nile River. God had chosen Moses to be the next deliverer. And the church said Amen.

Moses was chosen to deliver the enslaved Hebrew people. And Moses spent 40 years as a prince, 40 more years as a pauper herding dumb sheep, and finally Moses spent the last 40 years of his life as a prophet for the nation. Brothers and sisters you never know who God has in mind to deliver His people. And so in 2024 God have Chosen Rev Larry Oliver.

And Moses killed the Egyptian who was beating a Hebrew slave, Moses fled to Midian, And in the land of Midian Moses married Zipporah. Zipporah was Jethro’s daughter. Jethro was a Priest And Moses got a job herding Jethro’s sheep.

And One day When Moses led the flock to the west side of the desert, he came to Sinai, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire coming out of a bush. “ Moses sees a wonderful sight”. It’s a Bush that’s Burning but the bush is not burning up! And the bible says Moses saw that the bush was on fire, but it was not burning up. 3 So he said, “I will go closer to this strange thing. How can a bush continue burning without burning up?” And that’s when God said Moses Moses don’t come no closer “Take off your shoes because the ground you’re standing on is holy ground”. Royal Oak BC is Holy Ground. And the church said Amen.

Moses knew he was in the presence of the Almighty Jehovah Gabbah -The transcendent God. And the Lord said 6 I am the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And the bible says Moses covered his face because he was afraid to look at God. Moses had Reverent Fear. I have Reverent Fear of God, Rev Larry Oliver have Reverent Fear. Meaning God I don’t play with the Good Lord because He’s Real. This calling to be a Pastor Preacher teacher Leader is serious business. Moses fell on his face before God!!! Now they come to church any kind of way, No Reverent Fear. Some people come in church and cuss and fuss like it ain’t nothing, No Reverent Fear. And we got to treat the Lord’s house with respect because The Lord’s preacher and the Lord’s house Is on Holy Ground.

And so Moses is getting orders from God And in Exodus 3: 13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. God sent Moses. And God sent Rev Larry Oliver to Royal Oak B.C.

God said Moses I’ve heard the cries of my children in Egypt land. Moses I’ve seen their afflictions. and Now Moses I want you To go and tell old Pharaoh to Let me people go. God chose Moses. Moses didn’t choose God. And Moses gets back to Egypt with his orders from God and tells Pharaoh that God said Let My People Go.

And Pharaoh said No, and in essence your God don’t mean nothing to me. Moses you know we have gods too. Pharaoh said I ain’t scared of your God Moses. Then Moses takes the same shepherd’s staff that God gave him and throws it down on the palace steps. Moses staff turns to a visous viper. Pharaoh calls for his magicians and soothsayers and they throw down their staffs. And brothers and sisters sure enough their staffs turn into snakes too. And I imagine Pharaoh saying Moses you’re not the only one who can do magic tricks.

Then all of a sudden Moses snake ate up all of Pharaoh’s snakes. And God said Moses pick up the snake by the tail. Moses pick up his snake by the tail and the snake turned back into the ruling shepherd’s staff that God gave him to lead the children of Israel with. And this tell me just use what God gave you. Rev Oliver Just use what God gave you!!! And ain’t no devil in hell will be able to overtake you. Because the bible says No Weapon form against the children of God will be able to prosper. And the church said Amen.

So Moses leaves Pharaoh’s presence and then re-appears 10 more times before Pharaoh Let God’s People Go. Moses says thus saith the Lord God Almighty (Let My People Go!) And Pharaoh would not. And even after The Nile River was turned to blood. Even after there were Frogs all over the land. Even after there were nasty Gnats and flies. Even after the dust and the boils and the diseases and the dead livestock, Pharaoh said No. Then even after there was darkness all over the land, and even after there was hail storms that rained down fire and ice at the same time all over the land, Pharaoh said No! Then even after the Locust came and ate up everything in sight. Pharaoh said No! But God hardened Pharaoh’s heart.

And sometimes Rev God makes your enemies have a hard hearts against you. But it for your good. The scriptures say in Romans All things work together for my good according to God’s purpose for your life. So brothers and sisters what ever you’re through, Go On through it because It’s all Good.

And Then finally God sent the tenth and last plague. The last plaque was that every first born in Egypt would die. And The only way that anybody 3x would be passed over and spared from the death angel, was with the blood of an unblemished Lamb painted over their door posts of their homes.

And the Good Lord spoke to me right down in my spirit man. And said when I come through the church to bring correction because things will get out of order from time to time. The Lord said to me When I come through if you’re fussing and fighting in the church just like them, Then my angel ain’t going to know the difference between who right or wrong because everybody acting bad so I’m going to get all y’all. I straighten up quick. Make sure you’re on the right side of history when God come strolling through His Church.

Rev Oliver 2x these are some good people but if there comes a day when they will not endure sound doctrine, or if they have lost their moral compass, or they promote wickedness over righteousness, REV OLIVER Don’t you argue and don’t try to prove that you’re right. Because the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Step back and let the Lord have his way.

Because the bible says when the death angel came through Egypt land, the Children of Israel were the only ones spared. They were spared because they were covered by the Blood of the Lamb.

Well I’ve got to close here and I just to say that I’m so glad that I’m covered by the blood of the Lamb. Um Um Because after that 10th plaque Pharaoh Let the Children of Israel go. Yes And God Delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt, by the hand of Moses.

And the bible says God made Pharaoh change his mind and go after Moses and the children of Israel. And God sent the pillar of cloud to the back of the people and stopped Pharaoh’s army. um um And that Moses stretched out his rod Yes and God parted the Red Sea Oh Lordy. The winds came and dry the sea floor and Moses and the Children of Israel march through the Red Sea on dry land and Pharaoh’s army went after them and drown in the Red Sea. The Lord brought them out Oh Yes He did...

Yes I believe that God has sent Rev Larry Oliver to be a blessing and bring this church to the Promise Land, a land that flowed with milk and honey.because Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding. Thank God for the angel of this house.

Thank God for a reason portion of health and strength. And Most of all Thank God for His darling Son Jesus.
