Hearing God’s voice

Many are going through a rough time right now. Needing guidance, direction, hope, comfort.
Silence
God is speaking, but you may not realize it.
Job 33:14–16 “For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men, While slumbering on their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.”
Proverbs 4:20–21 “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;”
Mark 7:14 “When He had called all the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear Me, everyone, and understand:”
God wants you to hear Him and to understand.
Are you listening?
You don’t hear me. MEANS- You aren’t agreeing with me.
Are you listening to God even if He isn’t agreeing with you?
Psalm 46 NKJV
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song For Alamoth. God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High. God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved; God shall help her, just at the break of dawn. The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has made desolations in the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two; He burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

GET OUT OF GOD’S WAY AND LET HIM BE GOD!!
Cease Striving
Psalm 46 was written during a time of war. Think about that.
God is saying find me in the chaos. Shut off the noise. Don’t listen to the wrong voices. Attune your ear to me. Let go of all of your worries and doubt. Trust me.
