I. People Love Darkness to Hide Their Evil Deeds

John 3:19–20:19 “19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

II. The Time Has Come That People Do Not Endure Sound Doctrine

A. Because of Their Lusts, They Heap to Themselves Teachers to Have Their Ears Itching

2 Timothy 4:3–4 “3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

B. They Turn Away Their Ears From Truth

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,

C. They Turn to Fables: Greek a tale that is fiction (“myth”)

D. Today Their Conspiracy Theories That Are Not True

and shall be turned unto fables.”

III. We Are to Walk As Children of Light

A. Do Not Let Men Deceive You With Vain Word

B. Because of These Things Comes the Wrath of God Upon the Children of Disobedience

Ephesians 5:6–9 “6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

C. Be Not Partaker With Them

7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

D. We Are Now in the Light of the Lord and Walk As Children of the Light

8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

E. The Fruit of the Spirit is in All Goodness, Righteousness, and Truth

9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)”

F. Prove What is Acceptable Unto the Lord

Ephesians 5:10 “10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.”
