Do You Know Who’s In The Boa

Many times in life we find ourselves in a sense of worry when we have what we need with us in our lives. In all honesty if the truth is told all of us can probably say that we have been in that predicament before. We know who we have in our corner but we still fail to realize it and find ourselves in a panic when all we have to do is trust and be confident to know who is on our side.

You might be asking Who is on our side God is on our side my bible tells me that if God be for me than who can be against me.

We let things problems and situations cause us to forget who we have in our corner. The reason why this is happening is because we won’t fully depend on our help. Okay let me bring you in a little closer. Some say Michael Jordan is the best Player of to ever play the game of basketball. However Michael Jordan would’ve never Had as much success as he did if he didn’t have support from Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.

Lebron James No matter how Good he was he still needed support in his corner from Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.

These two individuals didn’t think they could do it alone but they realize if I want to win a championship and take my career to the next level I understand that I need some help.

Thats the problem with many of us today we don’t want to acknowledge we need help. We are trying to do things on our own but the Lord is saying that I am here to help you. But we have gotten so caught up in our own abilities to do things rather than trusting God.

Church it is a bad position to be in when you start trusting in your own ability and not trusting in God. For the bible tells us to acknowledge him in all of our ways and he will direct our paths. We are trying to direct our own paths and thats why we end up in the situations and predicaments that we are in.

However Brothers and sisters I come to encourage you that you must realize who is on our side and in the Boat.

Because when you realize who is in your boat you will understand that yes I may have the education and the status and the fame but I didn’t get it by myself but it was with the help of the Lord.

We have to keep or focus and understand that we have help in our boats and that since we have God on our Side we don’t have to worry about what we are facing but we must know that God is shifting and working things on our Behalf.

Okay you don’t believe me come here Bible.

Joseph Knew who was in his boat. He was beat up left for dead but God had a plan and promise For Joseph So the Promise Could not Die before the appointed time. Joseph went from the Pit to the Palace to the Prison and back to the Palace.

I Just came to let some of you know that God haas a promise over your Life and the reason you are still here is because when God speaks it has to come to pass. For the Bible says God is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that he should repent but if he said it he is going to do it. Just tell your neighbor you can’t die yet………… God still has more for you it’s a promise on your life and your Gonna live to see it happen.

Okay Yall aint Got it yet come here Moses. Moses Had Pharoah army behind him and the Red Sea in front of him. God was on his side because he turned the Sea into a Sidewalk

Okay Yall Still Don’t believe Me Come here David. Yeah I know you are a small sheppard boy but I want you to go Kill This Giant Goliath and because David Had God on his Side he was able to conquer the Giant

Thats all I came to tell you this monring is that no matter what you are Facing when you Have God on your side he will work things for you Good and for His Glory.

Just look at somebody real quick and tell them its working for your Good and His Glory.

So we must remember that we can remain calm in the midst of circumstances because we have God on our side.

If it had not been for the Lord on my side I don’t know where I would be.

I Just need 5 people and I’ll make 6 who can testify That they thank the Lord for being on their side cause if not I would’ve been crazy I would’ve Lost my mind but he kept me and is keeping.

So now we get here to the 4th Chapter of Mark. Here in the 4th chapter we see Jesus teaching the people in parables. But after all of his Teaching he tells his disciples somethings in the last few verses.

Jesus Comes and tells them in come Let’s get in the Boat and go to the other side. Jesus speaks the Word Let us go to the other side. Keep a pin in that.

The story goes on and its says they got in the boat and started on the journey to the other side and the text says other boats followed them as well. While they were in the midst of the Journey A great storm arose.

My brothers and sisters this great storm arises and the bible says Jesus is in the back or the bottom on the boat and he is sleeping. Jesus Had be sleeping because he was tired he was 100% man and God. So Jesus is sleeping and the Disciples begin to panic.

They began to panic so much that they had to go and wake jesus up.

My brothers and sisters this bring me to my first point and that is, When we know Who is in our Bout , We Remember the word that was spoken.

The disciples had got the Word that We are going to cross over to the other side. When Jesus Speaks a Word it is going to come to Pass. We can take the Lord at his word because his Word won’t fail.

The Disciples messed up here and forgot what Jesus Had spoken. Many times in our lives we wouldn’t find ourselves panicking because the Word has already been spoking that we are going to the other side.

Now we may not know what we may endure while on our Journey to the Other side but God spoke the Word that we were going to make it to the other side. I’m not sure who needs to hear that this morning, you may be in a stormy season right now but the Word as already been spoken that you going to make it to the other side. We got to remember his word in our storms.

Not only that the disciples had done nothing wrong but this Sea of Galliee was known to have storms.

All I waant you to know today is that sometimes God will put you in certain situation and seasons not because you have done nothing wrong but because God wants to get glory from your story. So sometimes your storms will arise from God but you got to remember the Word that was spoken that we are going to the other Side.

Just look at a neighbor and tell them we are going to the other side….…

Story Goes on and I’m almost done, They go and wake Jesus Up. Jesus wakes up and Tells the storm Peace be Still.

I just came to let you know that Jesus is about to speak peace to your storm I know you been going through but God is about to speak peace to your storm.

Lastly The Lord ask them Do you still have no Faith… …

Point 2 is we must Remain faithful and not Faithless…..…
