Ephesians 2:13

We need to come to the place where we are letting God love us and we are loving Him.
It’s called drawing to the source of strength, not stirred by feeling and emotion.
When we aren’t submitted to the truth the Holy Spirit isn’t allowed to do His work; therefore we are driven by law and works, pride and competition.
It is nothing abut works.
Ephesians 2:13 NASB95
But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
We need to be brought near by the blood.
The narrow way counters the natural.
We enter the narrow way by pressure, anguish, distress.
It can only be accomplished through the work of the Holy Spirit.
It is impossible for any to enter who think the entrance depends on self-merit but who still dips and dabs with sin and is not convicted.
Until there is complete surrender there is always strife between the Spirit and the flesh.
John 16:8–11 NASB95
“And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.
Hebrews 12:4–6 NASB95
You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin; and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, Nor faint when you are reproved by Him; For those whom the Lord loves He disciplines, And He scourges every son whom He receives.”
Yet honesty is the beginning of true freedom, as we admit that we are sinners, confess our sins and receive from God all we need.
If we want God’s best for our lives and churches, we must be honest with God and let God be honest with us.
When we are honest and let the truth have free reign in our lives this releases the freedom of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
This results in bearing fruit and that is what attracts the lost to Jesus Christ.
We wonder why nobody wants what we have.
The best place to be in Christ is just like a child who wants to please his father.
We want to please Jesus Christ.
This is the point where we let Jesus burn off the filth of pride, selfishness, unforgiveness and bitterness—down-right sin.
This is the point when we know our address has ben changed!!!
We start knowing God’ grace that empowers us to live holy as He is holy.
Those things we used to do in the old man are not appealing anymore.
This is the time we start to realize we have been chosen.
We need Jesus more than anything.
Those previous old things are dead and dull because we have been delivered from them and we have been brought near to God by the blood.
This is when the Word comes to life and illuminates the law of sin and death.
We now are walking in freedom.
John 8:31–32 (NASB95)
So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine;
and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
In coming into that freedom, we are born again to a living hope!
Are you ready to come to Jesus Christ today, repent of your sins and receive the freedom He has for you and be brought near by the precious blood of Jesus?
