Pleasing one another vs. 1-7

TRUE BELIEVER IS NOT SELFISH, BUT SHARES , AND builds others up

v. 1 strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about the things in ch. 14

What things are listed in ch 14?

we don't just put up with difficult people, we embrace them.z

It is the weaker brother who is a legalist. We need to be patient with them because they are legalistic, not antagonistic because they are strong and wrong..

Where do we get the power to live and act right, building each other up?

vs. 3 Christ is the example Accept others as Christ has accepted you

vs. 4 scripture gives up hope, encouragement

vs. 5 By God’’s help we can live in complete harmony w/each other

v. 6 then we can raise one voice of praise together.
