(Persecution)

Memory Verse
Matthew 5:10 10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 10:16–42 (ESV)
16 “Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.
Not everyone has your best interest in mind.
Proverbs 29:11 (ESV): 11  A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back.
know who is for you and who is not
know the difference between what you know, and what needs to be said.
How do i start to figure this out ?
James 1:5 (ESV): 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. ‘
God will start to show you who to bring close and who mean harm
God can move people in and out of your life
LET HIM MOVE THEM
We tend to hold on to people God is trying help move on from us
If people want to Go, if God leading people away........ Open The Door
Let God bring you someone that will help you, guide you, and correct you.
17 Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to courts and flog you in their synagogues, 18 and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles.
It Is Not Always Easy But With God You can Make it.
I hear it all the time from preachers “I wish I could tell you it is always easy after salvation, but it aint.
We understand that Life is hard.
But we have to also know that I am able to walk any path along as i bring God with me
Thats right I have to bring him
This is where we fail,
we dont bring God with us, we wait to call on him untill we need him
but if we were to consider God, pray to God, asking god for guidace along the WHOLE journy insted of just the hard parts, we could have avoided many of the hard parts.
WIth God I can Make it
James 1:12 (ESV): 12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
God has called us to remain stedfast, keep going.....
how can we remain stedfast ?
Romans 12:12 (ESV): 12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
Rejoice in Hope
If you have God You have Hope
Be Patient in Tribulation
Dont Rush it, Take it one day at a time
Be Constant in prayer
We do not pray enough, we all know this.
God has said if you worried, pray about it
Paul tells us to pray continually several times in his letters
But this is often the last thing that we do.
START, GO ,AND FINISH IN PRAYER
19 When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you in that hour. 20 For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
When Life Gets to You Give It To God
Philippians 4:6–7 (ESV): 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Key to Gods Please is, we must give our problems over to him and stop holding them
we pray about it, then go right back in to worrying about them.
Once you made your request known, change your mindset about it
continue to pray about it.. but pray as if God is already done it.
Stop worrying about it.... IF God really has it.. what can you do better than him ?? Let him do it
Start living as if it is done.
Once we truly let go, we can start to truly understand peace.
21 Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, 22 and you will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.23 When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
You are an Overcome with Christ (Start Saying It)
1 John 4:4–6 (ESV)
4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
The God in me is greater then the world around me
to offten we spend so much time and energy on what people are
saying about us
doing around us or to us
leaving us out of
They can only do so much.... God can not only brings us through it… but can take us father then anyone else could imagian.
Let God take care of those who are against you.... we have better things to focus on
24 “A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25 It is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.
No matter what the World throws at you, You can Rise above it.
Isaiah 54:17 (ESV)
17 no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”
How is ready to receve this heritage ,
who is ready for this protection
who is ready for t his promice…
IT STARTS WITH ACCEPTING CHRIST AND TODAY CAN BE YOUR DAY....

How To Handle (Fear)

26 “So have no fear of them, for nothing is covered that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 27 What I tell you in the dark, say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops. 28 And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. 30 But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. 32 So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, 33 but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.

How To Handle (Battles)

34 “Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a person’s enemies will be those of his own household. 37 Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. 40 “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. 41 The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s reward. 42 And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.”
