Acts 2:37 NA28

Ἀκούσαντες δὲ κατενύγησαν τὴν καρδίαν εἶπόν τε πρὸς τὸν Πέτρον καὶ τοὺς λοιποὺς ἀποστόλους· τί ποιήσωμεν, ἄνδρες ἀδελφοί ;

Now having heard their heart was pierced and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “What should we do, Man Brothers?”

Acts 2:38 NA28

Πέτρος δὲ πρὸς αὐτούς· μετανοήσατε, [φησίν] καὶ βαπτισθήτω ἕκαστος ὑμῶν ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ εἰς ἄφεσιν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ λήμψεσθε τὴν δωρεὰν τοῦ ἁγίου πνεύματος.

Peter said to them, “Ya’ll repent, and be baptized, every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you all will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:39 NA28

ὑμῖν γάρ ἐστιν ἡ ἐπαγγελία καὶ τοῖς τέκνοις ὑμῶν καὶ πᾶσιν τοῖς εἰς μακράν, ὅσους ἂν προσκαλέσηται κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν.

Because the promise is yours and you children’s and for all those far away, as many as the Lord our God summons.

Acts 2:40 NA28

ἑτέροις τε λόγοις πλείοσιν διεμαρτύρατο καὶ παρεκάλει αὐτοὺς λέγων· σώθητε ἀπὸ τῆς γενεᾶς τῆς σκολιᾶς ταύτης.

And with many other words he solemnly warned and was exhorting them, saying: “Be Saved from this crooked generation.”

Acts 2:41 NA28

οἱ μὲν οὖν ἀποδεξάμενοι τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ ἐβαπτίσθησαν καὶ προσετέθησαν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ψυχαὶ ὡσεὶ τρισχίλιαι.

Therefore, the ones accepting his word were baptized and -in that day- about three thousand souls were added.

Acts 2:42 NA28

Ἦσαν δὲ προσκαρτεροῦντες τῇ διδαχῇ τῶν ἀποστόλων καὶ τῇ κοινωνίᾳ, τῇ κλάσει τοῦ ἄρτου καὶ ταῖς προσευχαῖς.

And they were devoting themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to fellowship and to the breaking of bread and prayer.

Acts 2:43 NA28

ἐγίνετο δὲ πάσῃ ψυχῇ φόβος, πολλά τε τέρατα καὶ σημεῖα διὰ τῶν ἀποστόλων ἐγίνετο.

And fear was coming in every soul, and many marveled and signs were being performed through the apostles.

Acts 2:44 NA28

πάντες δὲ οἱ πιστεύοντες ἦσαν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ καὶ εἶχον ἅπαντα κοινὰ

And all the ones believing were in the same and had everything in common.

Acts 2:45 NA28

καὶ τὰ κτήματα καὶ τὰς ὑπάρξεις ἐπίπρασκον καὶ διεμέριζον αὐτὰ πᾶσιν καθότι ἄν τις χρείαν εἶχεν·

And the possessions and the properties they were selling, and were distributing them all to anyone having need.

Acts 2:46 NA28

καθʼ ἡμέραν τε προσκαρτεροῦντες ὁμοθυμαδὸν ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ, κλῶντές τε κατʼ οἶκον ἄρτον, μετελάμβανον τροφῆς ἐν ἀγαλλιάσει καὶ ἀφελότητι καρδίας

And each day they were persisting with one purpose in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, and were sharing food in the joy and simplicity of the heart.

Acts 2:47 NA28

αἰνοῦντες τὸν θεὸν καὶ ἔχοντες χάριν πρὸς ὅλον τὸν λαόν. ὁ δὲ κύριος προσετίθει τοὺς σῳζομένους καθʼ ἡμέραν ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό.

Praising God and having joy with all the people. And the Lord was adding those being saved every day to them.
