A Firm Foundation

Only God is consistent and constant. Only He is eternal. When a person has their identity rooted in Gods love, they too become consistent and constant. They have nothing to prove, are unmoved by man’s fickle opinions, have peace and faith for the future. Why? Because God is unchanging, eternal. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Things in this life are at best temporary and never really create stability.

A person filling the void with man’s approval will be disappointed when he goes from hero to zero. It doesn't take much, just say no.

A person using success as their foundation will feel a failure with one mistake.

If we are defined by temporary things then we are at their mercy. We are meant to be defined by God.

Ephesians 3:16–19 (ESV)

16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your INNER BEING,

17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in LOVE,

Anyone who has someone special in their lives, loves someone… I mean really, really love them. AS MUCH AS YOU LOVE THEM GOD LOVES YOU MORE. AND THEM MORE.
