I want to take a minute and look at the quote I placed upon your agenda this morning.

It is from John Piper in his boo “Brothers, We Are Not Professionals”

The Power is His

2 Corinthians 4:7 ESV

7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

Human Vessels — the power and mercy our God’s, not ours

Because the treasure is Him/His glory

Training is Good, But Not Everything
