VIII. Jesus is by your side and Hebrews 4:15“For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
IX. Read Hebrews 4:16“Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” and comment.
X. Urgent Lord’s Prayer before Communion.
XI. Conclusion. Do you have some urgent things on your mind right now? Are you struggling with some temptation? Do you need someone to listen to your prayers? Jesus can help you with any temptation. Jesus will listen to every prayer you pray. Jesus gives you mercy and grace to see you through whatever urgent prayer request you have. Jesus knows about temptation and He knows how to help you with any temptation that is troubling you right now. Amen.
