SEEING MY SIN

glory may be revealed. 9:1-5

questions, debate, and the revelation
of Jesus’ deity. 6-34
SEEING MY SIN
3. The work of God reveals the deity of
God. 35-38
4. Jesus reveals true blindness is
spiritual blindness. 39-41
The man was born blind
so that the deity of Christ would be
revealed and the sinfulness of the
Pharisees would be exposed—
all revealing
the realities of God.
TWO PRIMARY PRINCIPLES
God is better seen through my
limitations.
Don’t be spiritually blind to your sin
and need of a Savior.
APPLICATION
1. The reality of my sin should lead me to humility
before God—Jesus is the one who deals with my
sin—I am unable to deal with my own sin.
APPLICATION
2. I must recognize the difference in my life
between what is truly the consequences of sin
and the false perceptions that my life
circumstances are God’s judgment, anger, or
dislike of me for even in God’s correction it is for
my benefit.
APPLICATION
3. What are some of the limitations in your life or
those close to you? What is your heart attitude
towards limitations that God has given you or
those close to you? Take time to reflect on how
the character and essence of God may be seen
in the limitation.
APPLICATION
4. Take time to praise God for the limitation he has
placed in your life.
ALLOW GOD
TO BE SEEN
THROUGH YOUR
LIMITATIONS OF LIFE.
