Emotions Bounded or Unbound

Then God said, “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; Genesis 1:26 (NKJV)

Men we are created as emotional beings, in the image of our Father.

God has emotions and they are on display in His word.

God Feels Anger!

Psalms 7:11 - God is a just judge, and God is angry with the wicked everyday.

God Feels Grief!

6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. Genesis 6:6 (NKJV)

God Feels Jealousy

Genesis 20:5 (NKJV) For I, the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me.

God Feels Joy!

Jeremiah 32:41 (AMP) i will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all MY soul.

God Feels Love!

Jeremiah 31:3 (CEB) the LORD appeared to them from a distance: I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. And so with unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.

David and his men cried aloud until they had no strength left to weep. 1 Sam 30:3-4

Question, brethren what stops us from displaying our emotions?

Brothers why is angry the easiest emotion to display?

Why does loving whole heartedly hard for us?

Emotions Bound?

Emotions Unbound In God
