Though the mission never changes, the methods often will need to.

Matt
New Living Translation (Chapter 28)
I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
In a world of foolishness, we want to model wisdom.
In a world of confusion, we want to give clarity.
In a world of isolation we want to foster community.
In a world hatred we want to be healers.
In a world of hopelessness we want to be proclaimers of hope.
Judges
The New International Version (Chapter 2)
10 After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the LORD nor what he had done for Israel.
We are currently witnessing the largest demographic shift in American religion since the decades following the Civil War. Nearly 40 million Americans (approximately 15% of the population) have ceased attending church in the past 25 years

Drift from the mission can become dangerous.

Discipleship relationships are the answer to the drift.

51% of dechurched evangelicals said that they would be willing to give church a try again. Many of them even still have mostly orthodox beliefs. They just need a friend to extend an invitation to them.

Our ministries and programs are all set up to foster relationships.

Matthew
The New International Version (Chapter 13)
44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

When we focus on the that which is most important we will joyfully do whatever it takes to achieve the mission.

Jesus joyfully gave everything so that you too might truly live, would you be willing to join Him.
