(Ge 22:2)
Genesis 12:1-3 (KJV)
1 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
The New King James Version (Chapter 11)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
The Passion Translation (Chapter 11)
6 And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.
Hebrews 11:6 (MSG)
6 It's impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him.
To believe that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. If one can believe this as much as he believes in the existence of God, prayer will be granted. If one believes firmly in His existence and doubts His word, he makes Him a liar and God is under no obligation to answer prayer ( Jas. 1:4-8 ). The Greek for diligently is ekzeteo (GSN-<G1567>), translated diligently seek (Heb. 11:6); seek after (Acts 15:17; Rom. 3:11); seek carefully (Heb. 12:17); require (Lk. 11:50-51); and enquire (1Pet. 1:10).

11:6 BELIEVE THAT HE EXISTS. This verse describes the convictions that are a part of saving faith. (1) We must believe in the existence of a personal, infinite, holy God who cares for us. (2) We must believe that God will reward us when we earnestly seek him, knowing that our greatest reward is the joy and presence of God himself, He is our shield and our very great reward (Ge 15:1; cf. Dt 4:29; Mt 7:7-8, note; Jn 14:21, note). (2) We must diligently seek God and earnestly desire his presence and his grace.
Matthew 6:6 (NKJV)
6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
