Give what you want

Luke 6:38 We are living in various climate changes and I’m not talking about weather . Racial climate , political climate’s, cultural climate , economic climates that from day to day provide an arduous strain on us mentally, emotionally, financially and sometimes physically. Some people working 2-3 jobs to survive. Not get what you want

In Luke Ch 6, it opens with the sabboth and how the man with the shriveled hand got restored or healed. Then how Jesus goes to the mountains to pray and chose his 12 apostles, blessings and woes, how we need to love our enemies. Then we get to our verse focus of giving. Many people use this to justify that we should give- but financially. but really its giving what you want- do not judge and you will not be judged, do not condemn and you will not be condemned, forgive and you will be forgiven. Use at the end - I want more of God then I need to worship him . John 4 tells me that I am being sought after by the father to worship in spirit and in truth . So how do I worship God I need to sacrifice my selfishness. It’s recognizing that I need him . Reviewing his track record and discovering his character .
