After God led the Israelites out of Egypt, the people accepted the negative report of 10 of the 12 spies sent to scope out the new land. God declared those who did not believe His Promise would never enter the Promised Land. Just like the Israelites, many who are in the church will not be allowed into the Eternal Promise Land either. Why? What is it that will cause many who say Jesus is Lord to hear, "‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness."? How can we make sure we are not deceiving ourselves and truly are followers of Jesus Christ?
