Romans 15

Vs. 1....Strong 2 Timothy 2:1 “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
1 Corinthians 9:22 “To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.”
To carry like carry a man......Galatians 6:1–2 “Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
1 Thessalonians 5:14 “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.”
Vs. 2........1 Corinthians 9:19–22 “For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.”
Vs. 3.........John 12:27 “Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.”
Matthew 26:39 “And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”
Psalm 69:9 “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; And the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me.”
Psalm 69:20 “Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: And I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.”
Vs. 4..........1 Corinthians 10:11 “Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.”
2 Peter 1:20–21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.”
Ephesians 2:12–13 “That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.”
Psalm 119:81 “CAPH. My soul fainteth for thy salvation: But I hope in thy word.”
Vs. 5.......Psalm 86:5 “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; And plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”
Acts 4:32 “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.”
1 Corinthians 1:10 “Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.”
Vs. 6.......Acts 4:24 “And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:”
Ephesians 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:”
Glorify God.....1 Chronicles 16:17-36........
Vs. 7........If the perfect, sinless, Son of God was willing to bring sinners into God’s family, how much more should forgiven believers be willing to warmly embrace and receive each other in spite of their disagreements.
Matthew 10:24 “The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.”
Vs. 8.........The idea of this is to bring together Jew and Gentile, that all their divisions be squashed by the example of Christ, in which the intention has always been that Jew and Gentile be brought together in faith!
Vs. 9.......God extended mercy and grace to those outside the covenant with Israel!
2 Samuel 22:50 “Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, And I will sing praises unto thy name.”
Vs. 10.......Deuteronomy 32:43 “Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: For he will avenge the blood of his servants, And will render vengeance to his adversaries, And will be merciful unto his land, and to his people.”
Vs. 11.....Psalm 117:1 “O praise the Lord, all ye nations: Praise him, all ye people.”
Vs. 12.....Isaiah 11:10 “And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, Which shall stand for an ensign of the people; To it shall the Gentiles seek: And his rest shall be glorious.”

vs. 13.....Ephesians 1:13–14 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.”
